It's to bad that being able to carry a concealed weapon is so restricted especially so in California and in cities and counties throughout the U.S. were crime rates are so high. Statistics are clear that in areas where citizens are able to freely exercise their right to keep and bear arms that the rates of violent crimes tend to be lower than where counties and municipalities restrict the 2nd Amendment.
The fiasco and usurpation of the Constitution, that took place during Katrina should be a warning alarm to everyone, when law enforcement ran amok trampling on the 2nd and 4th Amendments to the extent of threatening to shoot ordinary citizens who resisted the unwarranted searches, illegal entries into their domiciles, and had their weapons seized illegally.
Now we learn that ATF & the DOJ 'Fast'n Furious' "Guns to Mexico" 'unintended consequences' operation was to be a 'red herring' justification to further restrict gun rights, especially along the U.S./Mexican border. Conspiracy theory or not, the 'unintended consequences' of an over reaching government inevitably steps on the lawful actions and rights of ordinary citizens. As in this latest ATF case, apparently a direct cause of the death of American law officer(s) and untold Mexican people, untended consequences rarely . -- rfh
My favorite part of this one is his demeanor, this guy isn't macho or full bravado, he's humble and clearly has a big heart. Taking responsibility for your own safety isn't just for Rambo's and Sarah Connor's, it's for all good people.
