"A bump in the road" .... remember that calloused statement? I do recall the President referring to the Benghazi incident as "a bump in the road."  Today I heard an ex-Navy Seal being interviewed on Fox News regarding a book he has written about how to handle crisis situations in our lives.  At the end of the interview he asked if he could make a comment on Benghazi, and of course the anchor said "yes."  He then thanked Fox News for keeping the Benghazi story in the news, since other news organizations are not.  He said the
eals who died deserve the public knowing the truth about the whole affair.
 
The poem was written by an anonymous Marine Corps officer:

 

THE BATTLING BOYS OF BENGHAZI 
 
We're the battling boys of Benghazi, 
No fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell,
Defending our country we loved so well. 
It wasn't our job, but we answered the call,
fought to the Consulate and scaled the wall.
We pulled twenty countrymen from the jaws of fate
Led them to safety and stood at the gate. 
Just the two of us and foes by the score,
But we stood fast to bar the door.
Three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied,
So we fought and we fought and we fought

'til we died. 
We gave our all for our Uncle Sam,
But Barack Obama didn't give a damn.
Just two dead Seals who carried the load
No thanks to us...we were just "Bumps In The Road". 

 So, will this reach every American with a computer?  Or do we act like the press and give a pass to the incompetent people who literally sat there in the White House and watched the Seals' execution on live streaming video and did absolutely nothing? The Obama Administration obviously won't be held accountable because they apparently accept Hilary Clinton's assessment, "What difference does it make?"

Dear President Obama,

     My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

     One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

     So here goes.

     I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

     I can't figure out what country you are the president of.

     You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like: "We're no longer a Christian nation", "America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world," America is mean- spirited."  Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our
war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.)

     I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

     After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."

     Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

     I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.  Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

     Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue. You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

     And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts, who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

     One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

     You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.

     You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.

     And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle...

I support safe and legal immigration.  I myself like so many others, am a product of immigration. These policies though by the Obama administration are neither safe nor legal but appear to be more of an invasion plan by which those currently in power intend to irreversibly alter America's landscape after which little of what she once was will remain. Too many now entering the United States are doing so not to become an American, but rather to try and take it over. If that sentiment seems too harsh or confrontational to you, I would simply ask that you learn more of organization such as La Raza, which has had a place within the Obama administration since 2009 and is an organization Barack Obama has and continues to meet with personally.

Barack Obama appears to be a tormented man filled with resentment, anger, and disdain for anyone of an opinion or view other than his. He acts in the most hateful, spiteful, malevolent, vindictive ways in order to manipulate and maintain power and control over others. Perhaps, because, as a child, he grew up harboring an abiding bitterness toward the U.S. That was instilled in him by his family and mentors�it seems to have never left him.

 

It is not the color of his skin that is a problem in America. Rather it is the blackness that fills his soul and the hollowness in his heart where there should be abiding pride and love for this country.

 

Think: Have we ever heard Obama speak lovingly of the U.S. Or its people, with deep appreciation and genuine respect for our history, our customs, our sufferings and our blessings? Has he ever revealed that, like most patriotic Americans, he gets "goose bumps" when a band plays "The Star Spangled Banner," (no he gets goose bumps when he hears the ''Muslim call to prayer" (his words) or sheds a tear when he hears a beautiful rendition of " America the Beautiful?" Does his heart burst with pride when millions of American flags wave on a National holiday - or someone plays "taps" on a trumpet? Has he ever shared the admiration of the military, as we as lovers of those who keep us free, feel when soldiers march by? It is doubtful because Obama did not grow up sharing our experiences or our values. He did not sit at the knee of a Grandfather or Uncle who showed us his medals and told us about the bravery of his fellow troops as they tramped through foreign lands to keep us free. He didn't have grandparents who told stories of suffering and then coming to America, penniless, and the opportunities they had for building a business and life for their children.
                                
Away from this country as a young child, Obama didn't delight in being part of America and its greatness. He wasn't singing our patriotic songs in kindergarten, or standing on the roadside for a holiday parade and eating a hot dog, or lighting sparklers around a campfire on July 4th as fireworks exploded over head, or placing flags on the grave sites of fallen and beloved American heroes.
Rather he was separated from all of these experiences and doesn't really understand us and what it means to be an American. He is void of the basic emotions that most feel regarding this country and insensitive to the instinctive pride we have in our national heritage. His opinions were formed by those who either envied us or wanted him to devalue the United States and the traditions and patriotism that unites us.

 

He has never given a speech that is filled with calm, reassuring, complimentary, heartfelt statements about all the people in the U.S. Or one that inspires us to be better and grateful and proud that in a short time our country became a leader, and a protector of many. Quite the contrary, his speeches always degenerate into mocking, ridiculing tirades as he faults our achievements as well as any critics or opposition for the sake of a laugh, or to bolster his ego. He uses his Office to threaten and create fear while demeaning and degrading any American who opposes his policies and actions. A secure leader, who has noble self-esteem and not false confidence, refrains from showing such dread of critics and displaying a cocky, haughty attitude.

 

Mostly, his time seems to be spent causing dissension, unrest, and anxiety among the people of America, rather than uniting us (even though he was presented to us as the "Great Uniter"). He creates chaos for the sake of keeping people separated, envious, aggrieved and ready to argue. Under his leadership Americans have been kept on edge, rather than in a state of comfort and security. He incites people to be aggressive toward, and disrespectful of, those of differing opinions. And through such behavior, Obama has lowered the standards for self-control and mature restraint to the level of street-fighting gangs, when he should be raising the bar for people to strive toward becoming more considerate, tolerant, self-disciplined, self-sustaining, and self-assured.
Not a day goes by that he is not attempting to defy our laws, remove our rights, over-ride established procedures, install controversial appointees, enact divisive mandates, and assert a dictatorial form of government.

 

- Never has there been a leader of this great land who used such tactics to harm and hurt the people and this country.
- Never have we had a President who spoke with a caustic, evil tongue against the citizenry rather than present himself as a soothing, calming and trustworthy force.
- Never, in this country, have we experienced how much stress one man can cause a nation of people - on a daily basis!

 

Obama has promoted the degeneration of peace, civility, and quality of cooperation between us. He thrives on tearing us down, rather than building us up. He is the Architect of the decline of America, and the epitome of a Demagogue.

 Some of these photos have been around the net before.   Interesting conclusion to the Manhattan Project.

 

  This is most interesting---but as I looked at the photos I realized these were the two bombs that ended the war and probably saved some million lives that would not have been saved without this method of stopping the Japanese back in August of 1945. It was also an event that happened in most of our lifetimes, too---saving the world and stopping the most destructive war ever. Interesting to see the assembly and the loading of the two bombs used to do so, too.

  Forest Arden was the chief flight mechanic of a B-29 stationed at Tinian Island. His aircraft was parked nearby to the Enola Gay and he watched the loading procedure of the first Atomic Bomb. He said that security was strictly enforced and no one was allowed to approach to within 100 yards. Few had any inkling of what was about to occur. Everyone was astounded at the sudden end of World War II.
 
  This is an unbelievable set of photos - the REAL thing - pix from Tinian Island as the B-29 "Enola Gay" was being loaded.

The Obama administration's micromanaging of all executive agencies and departments has led to long-lasting, deep-seated cultural changes as one unnamed Pentagon official put it.

One possible structural change to our counterterrorism operations at the FBI was outlined in 2009 by a renowned intelligence gathering agency.

In June 2009, Director Blue reported that STRATFOR Research indicated the FBI was ordered to be very careful about pursuing any investigations into attacks by Black Muslim converts, beginning with the case of Abdulhakim Muhammad.

The murder of a soldier and wounding of another by Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad could have been avoided. He was brought to the FBIs attention months before but counterterrorism teams appear to have been intentionally prevented from investigating radicalized converts to Islam.

Several weeks before, STRATFOR heard from sources that the FBI and other law enforcement organizations had been ordered to "back off" of counterterrorism investigations into the activities of Black Muslim converts. At this point, it is unclear to us if that guidance was given by the White House or the Department of Justice, or if it was promulgated by the agencies themselves, anticipating the wishes of President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder.

The shooting at the Little Rock recruiting office took place on June 1, 2009. When the American Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, born Carlos Leon Bledsoe, opened fire with a rifle in a drive-by shooting on soldiers in front of a United States military recruiting office in Little Rock, Arkansas, he killed Private William Long and wounded Private Quinton Ezeagwula.

Only weeks after leaving office on January 20, 2017, former president Obama discovers a leak under his sink, so he calls Joe the Plumber to come out and fix it.  Joe drives to Obama​'​ s new house, located in a very exclusive, gated community near Chicago where all the residents have a net income of more than $250,000 per year.

 

Joe arrives and takes his tools into the house.  Joe is led to the guest bathroom that contains the leaky pipe under the sink.  Joe assesses the problem and tells Obama that it's an easy repair that will take less than 10 minutes.  Obama asks Joe how much it will cost.  Joe checks his rate chart and says, "$9,500."

 

"What?!? $9,500???" Obama asks, stunned.  "But you said it's an easy repair - Michelle will have a fit if I pay a plumber that much!"

 

Joe says, "Yes, but what I do is charge those who make $250,000 per year a much higher amount so I can fix the plumbing of poorer people for free," explains Joe.  "This has always been my philosophy.  As a matter of fact, I lobbied the Democrat Congress, who passed this philosophy into law.  Now all plumbers must do business this way.  It​'s known as 'The Affordable Plumbing Act of 2014.'  I'm surprised you haven't heard of it."

 

In spite of that, Obama tells Joe there's no way he's paying that much for a small plumbing repair, so Joe leaves.  Obama spends the next hour flipping through the phone book calling for another plumber, but he finds that all other plumbing businesses in the area have gone out of business.  Not wanting to pay Joe's price, Obama does nothing and the leak goes unrepaired for several more days.  A week later the leak is so bad that Obama has had to put a bucket under the sink.  Michelle is not happy as she has Oprah and guests arriving the next morning.  The bucket fills up quickly and has to be emptied every hour and there's a risk that the room will flood, so Obama calls Joe and pleads with him to return.

 

Joe goes back to Obama's house, looks at the leaky pipe, checks his new rate chart and says, "Well, let's see, this will now cost you $21,000."

 

Obama quickly fires back, "What! A few days ago you told me it would cost $9,500!"

 

Joe explains, ​"Well, because of the 'Affordable Plumbing Act,' a lot of wealthier people are learning how to maintain their own plumbing, so there are fewer payers into the plumbing exchanges. As a result, the price I have to charge wealthy people like you keeps rising. Not only that, but for some reason the demand for plumbing work by those who get it for free has skyrocketed!  There's a long waiting list of those who need repairs, but the amount we get doesn't cover our costs.  This unfortunately has put a lot of my fellow plumbers out of business, and they're not being replaced and nobody is going into the plumbing business because they know they can't make any money at it.  I'm hurting, too—all thanks to greedy rich people like you who won't pay their fair share."

(The problem with emails like this is that we send them only to people who already understand that we're screwed.  The people who need to get them either ask you never to send them stuff like this anymore - "Please, don't ever again send me anything that resembles common sense" - or the emails don't change their mind; no lightbulb goes on.  So basically we're all just sharing a chuckle here on the Titanic.)

     An Irishman, a Mexican and a Blonde Guy were doing construction work on scaffolding on the 20th floor of a building.  They were eating lunch and the Irishman said, "Corned beef and cabbage!  If I get corned beef and cabbage one more time for lunch, I'm going to jump off this building." 

      The Mexican opened his lunch box and exclaimed, "Burritos again!  If I get Burritos one more time I'm going to jump off, too."

      The blonde  opened his lunch and said," Bologna again!  If I get a bologna sandwich one more time, I'm jumping too."

      The next day, the Irishman opened his lunch box, saw corned beef and cabbage, and jumped to his death. 

      The Mexican opened his lunch, saw a Burrito, and jumped, too.  

      The blonde guy opened his lunch, saw the bologna and jumped to his death as well.

      At the funeral, the Irishman's wife was weeping.  She said, "If I'd known how really tired he was of corned beef and cabbage, I never would have given it to him again!"

      The Mexican's wife also wept and said, "I could have given him tacos or enchiladas!  I didn't realize he hated Burritos so much."

 (Oh! This is GOOD!!)

      Everyone turned and stared at the blonde's wife.  The blonde's wife said, "Don't look at me.  He makes his own lunch."
