In Lodi, California (Lodi Unified School District (LUSD)) -- Is radical Islam is being taught in the public elementary school "Houston Elementary?" It is teaching (according to William Huyet, Superintendent) from " ’History Alive!: The Medieval World and Beyond’ ", a text book that includes teaching about Sharia Law and Jihadism !!! (The former leader of the Lodi mosque was charged with aiding terrorism.)
The local (Lodi) Muslim leader fails to explain why Christianity is banned throughout most Muslim occupied countries, nor why Islam considers women as chattel nor why, if women are raped they are subject to lashing, whipping, imprisonment, or death by stoning, hanging or beheading!!! Nor, why Islam calls for the destruction of Israel & death to non-(Muslim) believers (read Christians & Jews.) Current jihadism is expressed by chants of "Death to America" throught the Muslim world as exemplied by the current leader of Iran who openly calls for the destruction of Israel and "Death to the Great Satan! America!"
Indoctrination of elementary school students through the use of the text book is being challenged by many parents of the LUSD students before the local school board. They are seeking to discover the background involving California's State Board of Education authorizing it as a California approved text and more specifically why it has been introduced into the Lodi school system to the exclusion of other texts considered to present more of a balance between religious references and the development of Western Civilization (the foundation and historical origins of America.) And, the teaching of Islamic values to the exclusion of Christianity is viewed negatively by many parents.
" ’History Alive!: The Medieval World and Beyond’ " also drew protests in an Arizona school district. It was withdrawn by the publisher before the end of a trial period there.

If our country was to be as secular and as weakly supported, as some would have, "with a disposable Heritage" we are doomed to follow Rome's demise.
Modern day revisionists of American history would have us believe that our country was founded and organized by a bunch of Godless money-grubbing lackeys of the Crown beit English, Spanish, Russian or French. It is true, in many instances that financial rewards for "hard work" went hand-in-hand with firm beliefs founded in Faith above man. From these original beliefs, our system of government and judicial system relies solely upon the support and faith (confidence) of the all its people. They were confident in themselves and faithfully bound to the whole body of Judean-Christian values. Our original American Values were Christian Anglo-Saxon/European. In nearly all written and spoken commentary made by our fore bearers, belief in God and a faith in a principled government was the cement that held together all manner of our Republic's formation. Without that intangible force holding us together we, as a Nation, will fly apart, Dissolute, never to be put back together again. One can only hope that "Godly" forces do remain strong albeit not in control of the government as in the Muslim tradition. No one, outside of radical Islam's Muslim extremism, advocates returning to the medieval ways of religious and secular persecutions and Inquisitions; moreover, it was not the case that the principal and overriding motivation for émigrés coming to the New Land was profiteering. The original colonists were fleeing, as many of my ancestors (Quakers), from a tyrannical government. And, yes, fleeing from a religious tyranny wielded by the Crown (read government.)
Yes, it can be said that Norse predecessors brought the concepts to Britain as could it be said from Rome and elsewhere on the Continent of Old Europe. However, the basis for our legal system is more directly traced to a Scots origin derived from the Declaration of Arbroath on 6 April 1320 that influenced our own Declaration of Independence. The overall structure of our legal and legislative system stems from America's predominate English, Welsh, and Celtic Scots/Irish roots with some French influence and little other direct ethnic influences until the mid-to-late 19th century when many of Nordic descent began to bring forces into various state legislatures notwithstanding the aberration of the post-Civil War reconstructions levied upon the South.
It would be better, I think, to have "Godly correct" folk espousing Christian ideals than to simply throw up our hands in despair and have no moral foundations to stand upon for strength, strength to resist many who, at this very moment, are engaged against our Western culture and who would, given the opportunity, reek still more vengeance upon us all. I do not advocate direct religious control of our government any more than you. However, many "liberal" and "social reforming" modernists and neo-Da Daists, some of whom look upon the Declaration of Independence and our original Constitution of the United States as being no more than some whimsical mystical meanderings of elitist slave-holding land owners who thought little of the common man, would gut our nation's internal fortitude thereby exposing us to the possibility of a dictatorship rising from either the left or the right, religious or a God-less faithlessness.
I am concerned about laissez fair attitudes which have gained so much influence since the "Great Society" giddiness that stampeded during the Kennedy/Johnson Presidencies that they have led us not only to become a faithless society but to one that cares less for the individual than the State, almost a "hive mentality" and only lacking a "queen bee" at its center. Our knee-jerk reaction to 9.11 by failing to deliver a crushing blow to the religious zealots and arch-enemies of America has resulted in and the haphazard craziness now exhibited by check points, airport inspections that have to be "politically correct" so as not to offend "special classes" of people to the resulting offense to everyone. This self-righteous paranoia is more dangerous than any so called "Godly correct folk" and is an affront to all Americans particularly native born, Anglo-Saxon-Christian White, Black and Native Americans.
This defensive reaction posture is patently absurd in its failure to prevent a tidal wave of illegals any of whom could easily be a terrorist bent upon our destruction. They increasingly wash upon our shores with every tide of "leftist politico rhetoric nonsense" being espoused about them. Nonsensically waving more in and trying to ferment an atmosphere of support for creating still another "special class" from these illegals to be made suddenly and magically legal by legislative fiat is in no way beneficial. This gradual encroachment and erosion of moral principals is somewhat like a mild illness gradually invading the body politic with such stealth as to almost be unnoticeable until, I fear, a sudden fever will come over us and the "cure may be worse than the bite."
Seeing "machine gun" toting security forces patrolling airports, our streets, and borders worries me. We are gradually accepting more and more intrusion into our privacy and restrictions upon our freedom of movement. These internal ‘state controls’ result directly from "liberal political correctness”, not 'Godly correctness' and from fear of "offending, profiling, or singling out certain classes of people racially, by nationality, religion or ethnicity." TV often depicts or shows police exceeding reasonable force and treating people like dumb cattle being coaxed to slaughter. Shades of a new holocaust are being drawn about us. One that targets us, the “meek silent majority.”

Is this a deterrent against terrorism?
So called reality shows spew violence of all sorts (often under the guise of 'news') encouraging more “do what I will to whom I will" actions by impressionable viewers, most of whom have not defended their country nor earned an honest living to pay for their wonton wilding. TV network shows and commercials highlight "special class" and "self designated privileged class" minorities exaggerating their participation in group situational activities completely out of proportion to their population percentage often placing them in situations incongruent to any reality. Single parent or homosexual situations are propagandized as being the norm. We are fixated upon "O.J. Simpson types" of situations which clearly shows our judicial system can be manipulated and abused by "special classes" or "self conceived privileged classes" typified most recently by the huge presence, in Jena, Louisiana, of O.J. syndrome benefactors.
Our failure to speak directly to the point post-9.11 by not restricting Muslim immigration and failing to selectively profile at our new "Checkpoint Charlie" stations which have sprung up at every corner and turn typifies our failure to face the terrorist threat head-on ...whilst we allow nuts to advocate amnesty for millions of criminal aliens. This is further proof that our Country is awash with a failed moral purpose and unprincipled convictions. Those who formed our country would look aghast upon the new greed and looting of the public trust that has been permitted by court rulings and contemporary legislation. Such as is exemplified by baby killing body-snatchers who are looked upon by some as a necessary evil and by others as an avenue to escape from their lack of personal responsibility all the while the ghouls grub for our tax monies, whilst prominent Senators ensconced (they think), in untouchable positions of power advocate disarming all citizenry and propose more taxation and more "cradle-to-grave" entitlements (ala Robin Hood and Zorro.)
All the while real or imagined grievances and redress are vocally sought by descendents of slaves or by legal and illegals of Mexican heritage, homosexuals, and Muslim apologists who seek special treatment in all manner of public accommodation. And, in an effort to "swindle votes" from these "grieved minorities" in 2008 many of the 'mouth-pieces' who would be President of the United States spew forth public discourse supporting these "special classes' claims" ...all-the-while knowing that such entitlements would rip the fabric of our Nation and further alienate the "meek and silent majority 9not-withstanding the false premises inherent in these repatriation claims.) The proposed, but little spoken of by these would be Presidential contenders, so-called North American Union and its new proposed currency, the Amero, adds further fuel to these smoldering issues.
Plus, any new cradle-to-the-grave social programs (read higher taxes) will in all likely hood be jury rigged to benefit big business interests above individual rights. At the same time our legislators continue to vote themselves entitlements not given to us commoners and further free themselves from taxation that they levy upon us, a folk once honorably represented by our Christian Founding Fathers who themselves, and of whom it can be correctly said, were "Godly correct."
Sadly, many who seek a magic wand to legalize their criminal acts (illegal aliens) or special redress (Mexican or slave descendents) have failed to work themselves out of their inordinately crime ridden and family-broken environs and at the same time fail to recognize the absurdity of their claims and don't see the "hidden shackles" of being kept "on the dole." And, quite frankly, those who disavow their own White-Anglo-Saxon-Christian heritage and who would remove all traces of it from our society may well be the root cause of our loss of national self confidence at home and bring further ridicule from abroad if not our ultimate demise.
When you no longer hear Christian bells tolling for worship but in their place hear "the Muslim call to prayer" over loud speakers chanted in some mid-Eastern dialect emanating from a government subsidized housing area (that you paid for) being played loudly enough to be heard over the cracks of internecine gunfire intermingled with the din and wail of police/military sirens in some American city, hearken back to what we once were: a Nation of free and secure peoples who had rightfully come and colonized the New Land with Christian family oriented values, strong work ethics and who fought and died to create our Country. They, America's first citizens, defended and willed to us our now Traditional American Values thereby rightfully earning their place at the table of true American history.

Thanks, I wasn't going to reply until you'd gotten some other replies. The 'Godly correct' folks are out in force. I still don't understand how having that printed on a coin makes one person more lilely to follow the law, be a better citizen or have any real consequence. Particularly since it wasn't on there for most of our contry's existance. Oops, that's not a 'Godly correct' thing to say. Our country was established as thirteen COLONIES, under contract to make money for the investors in Europe. The Puritans signed contracts to make money. Then they threw out anyone who didn't go to their church and their church only. So much for God and religious freedom as elements of the founding of our country. The rest has been mythically carried on by a lot of folks who really don't want to hear the real truth. In fact, our legal and legislative system has a lot more to do with the Germanic and Nordic legal system (Danelaw) from the Viking invasions and Normans, who were third and fourth generation Norse. The system of town and area councils were early predecessors of what we have today, although numbers and time have greatly changed the result.
I venture to say that the mint wouldn't dare print a coin without the phrase on it, simply because everyone would catch so much flak from the 'Godly correct' folks, who only expect everyone else to act politely, discuss calmly and be rational. They have God on their side and he allows them to be nasty, loud and demanding. Sad....

At the same time our legislators continue to vote themselves entitlements not given to us commoners and further free themselves from taxation that they levy upon us, a folk once honorably represented by our Christian Founding Fathers who themselves, and of whom it can be correctly said, were "Godly correct."
Sadly, many who seek a magic wand to legalize their criminal acts (illegal aliens) or special redress (Mexican or slave descendents) have failed to work themselves out of their inordinately crime ridden and family-broken environs and at the same time fail to recognize the absurdity of their claims and don't see the "hidden shackles" of being kept "on the dole." And, quite frankly, those who disavow their own White-Anglo-Saxon-Christian heritage and who would remove all traces of it from our society may well be the root cause of our loss of national self confidence at home and bring further ridicule from abroad if not our ultimate demise.
When you no longer hear Christian bells tolling for worship but in their place hear "the Muslim call to prayer" over loud speakers chanted in some mid-Eastern dialect emanating from a government subsidized housing area (that you paid for) being played loudly enough to be heard over the cracks of internecine gunfire intermingled with the din and wail of police/military sirens in some American city, hearken back to what we once were: a Nation of free and secure peoples who had rightfully come and colonized the New Land with Christian family oriented values, strong work ethics and who fought and died to create our Country. They, America's first citizens, defended and willed to us our now Traditional American Values thereby rightfully earning their place at the table of true American history.

Thanks, I wasn't going to reply until you'd gotten some other replies. The 'Godly correct' folks are out in force. I still don't understand how having that printed on a coin makes one person more lilely to follow the law, be a better citizen or have any real consequence. Particularly since it wasn't on there for most of our contry's existance. Oops, that's not a 'Godly correct' thing to say. Our country was established as thirteen COLONIES, under contract to make money for the investors in Europe. The Puritans signed contracts to make money. Then they threw out anyone who didn't go to their church and their church only. So much for God and religious freedom as elements of the founding of our country. The rest has been mythically carried on by a lot of folks who really don't want to hear the real truth. In fact, our legal and legislative system has a lot more to do with the Germanic and Nordic legal system (Danelaw) from the Viking invasions and Normans, who were third and fourth generation Norse. The system of town and area councils were early predecessors of what we have today, although numbers and time have greatly changed the result.
I venture to say that the mint wouldn't dare print a coin without the phrase on it, simply because everyone would catch so much flak from the 'Godly correct' folks, who only expect everyone else to act politely, discuss calmly and be rational. They have God on their side and he allows them to be nasty, loud and demanding. Sad....

I erred by not checking the validity of the message that claimed that the new one dollar coins don't include the phrase "In God We Trust." In fact the coins do have that phrase inscribed on the edge along with other edge inscriptions.
