In the past week and a half, the gun rights community has had to bear a host of disturbing developments. Among them, the following: - BATFE twits raid a pastor's house to seize lawfully purchased guns while striving to create an atmosphere of fear and suspicion in the city. - One of the worst gun control dunces in the House of Representatives -- the same leftist responsible for introducing assault weapons ban legislation -- has thrown his name in the Illinois Senate hat for Barack Obama's old seat. - And did you hear about the recent serial killer in South Carolina? Thanks to the hard work of the local police, this killer poses no more threats to his community. But this incident, which developed over just a few days, brings up a serious concern: waiting periods.
