Anyone who shows up at these town hall protests is crazy, racist, polygamist or whatever else they come up with. But how did the same media react to violent protests against Bush? What 'doing something' looks like

Katy Abram talked with Glenn today on the radio program - you may have seen her on TV lately. She is the mom who laid in to Arlen Specter (in a firm, but respectful way) and gave him an earful on what she thought about Government run healthcare. To Arlen's credit, he did listen politely -- probably because she was making so much sense, he didn't know what to say. Katy's stated reason for going? Because she doesn't want to have to tell her kids that 'she didn't do anything' when America was transformed. What's life been like for Katy since the now infamous incident? UN: 4 months till global warming kills us

Wonder what the UN is up to these days with the hundreds of millions in taxpayer money we give them every year? Don't worry, it's money well spent. A recent report showed that 34 million Americans were receiving food stamps, a number that was much higher than usual. Oh, the poor poor. How bad is it to be poor in America?
