an o'pologist's vilification:
KD: I hope everyone saw or heard the Glen Beck explanation of why he has and will continue to disregard the Obama birth question. It was the only explanation that truly makes sense, to me anyway. I will not begin to try to explain it but you all should hear or see him on the subject. By continuing to keep it in the forefront it is only HELPING Obama. Even if true it is not going anywhere and gives Obama the high ground on all other issues. The time for taking on the case was at the beginning of the campaign, when he was the darling of the media. And of course at that time our crooked and corrupt congressional rats were and continue to be deaf, dumb and blind. If true it would cause a revolution and that is not good. It makes all who disagree with him on any subject seem like a nut case because of how the media and main stream Republicans have classified the subject "birthers are extreme right fruitcakes." Keep cool and with "common sense" continue to argue for the Constitution. Don't be distracted... KD

Breaking down the 'birther' movement
July 31: MSNBC.com's Playbook: The Daily Kos' Markos Moulitsas discusses a poll he conducted to find out what people really think about the "birther" movement. Among Republicans, 58 percent answered "no" or "not sure" when asked if they thought President Barack Obama was born in the United States.
