Obama indicated that all of us who regard legalizing 12-20 million illegal aliens as "unacceptable" are "demagogues." I think he used the term in its most pejorative sense, meaning that we use "false claims" to appeal to "popular prejudices." The President needs to get to know us better. Obama Criticizes Those Who Oppose Amnesty By Chris Chmielenski, Friday, August 14, 2009 Earlier this week, Pres. Obama made a statement about the nation's 12-20 million illegal aliens during a trip to Mexico. In his statement, Pres. Obama offered a timeline for an amnesty bill in Congress, and called those against amnesty "demagogues." You can readRoy's new blog responding to the President's statement. While Pres. Obama talked of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, 15 million Americans are still unemployed.
