2nd Amendment - What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Paraphrasing what I heard on Colmes' call-in radio show on XM/Sirius POTUS channel, tonight, Tu.7Oct09:

Caller:  If health care is a right where is it in the Constitution? 

Colmes:  I think it's right that everyone should have health care because the Constitution says that the government is to provide for the welfare of the people.

Caller:  The 2nd Amendment is in the Constitution.  If health care is a "right" then shouldn't the government pay for everyones' guns and ammunition?

Colmes:  That's crazy!
