Within 48 hours, the Senate Finance Committee is expected to  vote on its draft of ObamaCare -- complete with the Individual Mandate, the Corporate Mandate and its version of the Public option.

I say "draft" because the Finance Committee has not published actual legislative text but instead (as is the tradition of this committee) is working off what is called the "Chairman's Mark" of the bill.

While most pundits think the bill will pass the committee, our sources indicate that low-key swing votes on the committee are still undecided.

It may be a long shot, but if this bill fails in this committee, it would be a devastating blow to Obama's plan to push socialized healthcare through this year. We simply cannot let this vote go through without each and every Senator on this committee feeling immense grassroots pressure.

Here's why the Finance Committee vote is extremely important...

If ObamaCare passes this Committee, it would allow Harry Reid to use his procedural authority to merge the two competing ObamaCare bills and bring the Reid version of the bill directly to the Senate floor.

Essentially, Reid will cherry pick what he and Obama want in the bill and force a vote..
