So, you think you have a right to bear arms? Think again! Despite the Supreme Court's "landmark" Heller decision, government bureaucrats are still trying to deny law-abiding citizens their Second Amendment rights. Take Christian Davenport, a reporter for the Washington Post, who chronicled the hurdles he faced in his attempt to receive a handgun permit. He had to visit the police department 5 times, endure a ten day waiting period AND drive to another state in order to retrieve his gun just so he could gain big brother's permission to own a gun!!! There are no limits to the hurdles and impediments to gun ownership municipalities like DC will come up with. Ammunition taxes, waiting periods, background checks and gun licensing are all tools of big brother to make it more difficult for citizens to exercise their rights. The ultimate goal of the anti-gun zealots is to disarm YOU: the law-abiding citizens who want only to exercise their freedom as guaranteed by the Constitution!
