From: D.E.B.A.
 Good afternoon  -
I just spoke with former Congressman Duncan Hunter about the race for Congress here in California's 51st District, which is being contested by Nick Popaditch.   The name of the game in the closing days, according to Duncan, is money for TV ads.  Duncan says people get 90% of their news from television, and he also mentioned when he first ran for Congress way back when, he sold his house to pay for TV time.  Interestingly enough, nobody knew Duncan then, and the Republican registration numbers were running heavily against him.

The Republican Congressional Campaign Committee says there are more than 100 seats in play, and Popaditch is one of those 100  -  their polling data conducted says this race is a toss-up.  When Duncan ran in this same basic district, he was able to beat the incumbent by more that 10,000 votes!  So this race is doable, but again, it takes money for TV time.  Duncan has raised over $40,000 the last two days, and both he and his son  - the current Congressman  -  are working night and day for Popaditch.

The best and fastest way for you to get money to the Popaditch campaign, is to go to the website  -  www.popaditchforcongress.com  -  and use your Credit Card, and the money becomes instantly available to the campaign.  Duncan also mentioned the need for Hispanic ads, and one of the big Hispanic supporters is Rudy Saenz from Brawley  -  well know professional baseball player  -  is expected to be featured in those ads.

Thanks for your help  -  it's for a great cause  -  go get'em Nick!!

SEMPER FI!!!
