Filner claims to be the Veteran's friend.  Who needs friends that make blantant lies like this?  I don't. After watching Filner's dismal debate debacle [29Oct10], I find it hard to believe anything he has to say.  Veterans beware.  If he lies and attacks one vet's record, what won't he do to the rest of us?  -- rfh, veteran 
     P.S.  I was raised in the "duck'n cover" days.  Beware, their methods may've changed but the 'red-diaper babies' goals remain the same, be they in the Congress or the White House!

Please, pass to Veterans in California's 51st Congressional District as a reminder of Filner's dishonest underhanded sleazy campaign tactics.  We don't need his kind of representation in Washington. -- rfh

Filner ran ads on KSWT and KYMA saying Nick didn't vote for 11 years.
     We have documentation proving he did.  [ Filner is lying again! ]  In fact after being released from the hospital he was still blind and still voted with the help of April and a superior officer.   This was while he was stationed in Twenty Nine Palms.
     Duncan Hunter is coming down today to try and get the stations to interview him and show the proof.
     Would you please contact the following ad people and tell them ...  "We are stunned that they would run something like this in the 11th hour without checking the facts first!"

     Thank you for bringing these things to our attention.  Our news department has reported on this race fairly I believe.
      I do want to point out that KSWT is bound by federal law to broadcast the official commercials of political candidates without any censorship.     So, we cannot make any modifications to anything that is said in a political candidate commercial and since we have accepted the advertising for one candidate we are required accepted all of the advertising from Mr. Filner's campaign.
