Cut through all the posturing and presidential puffery from President Obama's press conference on the debt ceiling debate and one fact stands out: President Obama thinks you and I are not quite sophisticated enough to understand the debt ceiling debate!

I think you understand it just fine! Here are three ways you can let Obama and Congress know that you actually do understand what is happening in the debt debate:
ACTION #1 -- SIGN THE CUT, CAP AND BALANCE PETITION
This petition demands real spending cuts, a real cap on spending and a Balanced Budget Amendment. Let the Big Spenders know in no uncertain terms that you are finished with the political posturing, the gamesmanship and the dishonesty. Tell them you want real substantive action on the budget! Tens of thousands have signed.
