Attached is your invitation to attend the El Centro Economic Development "Project Jobs" 'Business Incubator' Open House on Thursday, December 6, 2012.

     The purpose of Project JOBS is to create jobs by soliciting tenants for the City's Business/Industrial Incubator Facility.  The grant will provide up to $20,000 loans for the tenants, business consulting services, and no-cost business training such as the accounting software QuickBooks.  The amenities of Project JOBS include partially forgivable loans, business training, consulting, and other incentives.

There are two levels of eligibility for Project JOBS:      Stimulus I - provides a primary framework for those persons or businesses that received negative socioeconomic impacts sustained as a result of the IID fallowing activity. Stimulus I offers a 90% reduction of the original loan principal.  The Stimulus I loans are interest free.
     Stimulus II - provides a secondary framework to those outside the eligibility specifications for Stimulus I.  Stimulus II offers an incentive of 75% reduction of the original loan principal.  The interest for Stimulus II eligible businesses is set at 2%.
