Why we have dry river bed flash flood warnings! (video 5m6s)

For folks who like to traipse through the desert heed this.  For us locals, a few years back, a debris flood like this swept over I-8 near Ocotillo and pushed a bus about a hundred yards down the highway.  It was scary to see but everyone was OK. -- rfh

These people were aware of the storm 'upstream;' most people aren't.

July 18th 2013.  Massive debris flow / flash flood in Southern Utah.  Close to 3" of rain fell north of my location and I filmed these shots 6+ hours after the fact.  Email David@Rankinstudio.com
