Our reach extends far beyond a life decision.

"Why don't you care about babies once they're born?"

Several times a month, 'Online for Life' shares stories of lives saved with our dynamic Facebook community.  Inevitably, we will then hear from pro-abortion supporters who accuse us of only caring about babies before they are born. "Why do you not care about babies once they are born?" is a rhetorical question frequently written on our Facebook page.

The reality is, we work with a nationwide network of life-affirming pregnancy centers dedicated to supporting women and men in crisis pregnancies, preparing them for parenthood, and helping meet their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.

'Online for Life' works closely with over 30 of these centers, helping to connect them with abortion-determined women so they can receive life-affirming care.  As a result, we know firsthand how each client receives compassionate care that often extends far beyond the baby's delivery.

Such was the case for 'Charla,' a young mother who found herself in a crisis pregnancy.  Single and alone, Charla did what so many pregnant women do every month: she searched online for a nearby abortion clinic.  That is when 'Online for Life' reached out to her and gave her the option to connect her to one of our participating life-affirming centers.

With compassion and love, the staff walked Charla through her options.  And after a long conversation, Charla made the brave decision to choose life for her unborn child.  Unfortunately, Charla's boyfriend was not supportive of her decision.  So our staff invited him to come to the center and see his baby on the ultrasound monitor.  Amazed by the baby's tiny hands and feet, he promptly changed his mind and agreed to support Charla in her decision to have the baby.

With both parents now committed to Life, the center's staff walked alongside the young couple throughout their pregnancy by providing childbirth and pregnancy classes.  The culmination of the center's mercy and continuous care came when the staff worked together with a local church to throw a huge baby shower for Charla.

Weeks later, Charla returned to the center with her newborn son, "Luke."  "Everything the center did for us it's just so overwhelming," Charla told the staff as they gushed over her son.

Charla's story reminds us that pro-life individuals are not just interested in saving the baby's life.  On the contrary, individuals working in life-affirming centers across the country are actively committed to ministering to both the parents and the child throughout the pregnancy and, in many cases, for many years to follow.  Whether it is throwing a baby shower, helping the parents find employment and housing, or just being available to talk, life-affirming pregnancy centers have a history of investing in each client for the long term.

As one of the fastest growing pro-life organizations in the country, 'Online for Life' is thrilled to work with some of the nation's premier life-affirming pregnancy centers.  We welcome your support as we work to reach more women like Charla, so every child can make their mark in the world.
