Operation Rescue President Troy Newman was also interviewed for the new article.


     Wichita, KS – An article that was supposed to be a “puff piece” on abortionist Mila Means, who is aiming to open an abortion clinic in Wichita sometime in the nebulous future, has revealed shocking information about her checkered history and attitudes disrespecting authority and the law.
     In a front page spread published June 23, 2011, in the Wichita Eagle, a paper known for its radical editorial support of unrestricted abortion, Means bares all about her bizarre relationships that earned her discipline with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, her history of financial mismanagement, and her disrespect for authority and the law.
     Means is currently still in training at the seedy Aid For Women abortion mill in a run-down area of Kansas City, Kansas. However, a new state law mandating minimum safety standards for abortion clinics will likely close that clinic by July 1. Means indicated that she may seek licensure in another state to complete her abortion training.
     Even though a bankrupt medical practice has left Means at least $100,000 in debt, she says she plans to open a non-profit to raise money to buy an office for her abortion practice in “12 to 18 months.” Her earlier prediction of opening an abortion clinic in Wichita in April failed to materialize.
     “I’m not good at making business decisions for financial reasons,” Means told the Wichita Eagle.
     Operation Rescue worked with potential landlords to block her from relocating. Her current landlord sued her to prevent her from doing abortions, saying Means would cause a disruption that would drive off other tenants and ruin his business.
     “The truth is that no one in Wichita wants to be neighbors to an abortion business, whether they are for abortion or not. It’s bad for business. The average person really doesn’t want it here and is glad Wichita is abortion-free,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Only a small handful of radicals think it is a good idea to bring abortion back to this community.”
     Newman wonders about the legality of using funds raised through a non-profit group to open a “for profit” business that would financially benefit Means.
     “It looks like Means is trying to used a non-profit corporation as a tax dodge,” said Newman. “She may be trying to avoid having to pay taxes on money raised for her new business endeavor. Her financial turmoil and history of a failed practice likely precludes her from obtaining business capital through the traditional, legal means. With her admitted history of financial mismanagement coupled with her dubious scheme to raise money, donors seriously risk throwing their money away by giving to her.”
     Means also has a problem with authority, according to her interview. She has refused to meet quotas imposed on her by employers and denounces what she calls “cookie-cutter protocol.” This raises questions about her ability to comply with new state safety laws that she says angers her and contain “many redundancies that are not important”. The new law “probably reinforced my decision to keep working in this direction,” she said.
     “If she is angry with the new laws and thinks they contain requirements that are ‘unimportant’, does anyone really believe she plans to adhere to them? It is pretty clear that she does not. That makes her a danger to the public,” said Newman. “She is willing to gamble with women’s lives based on her own poor judgment. That is a frightening prospect for women.”
     Speaking of poor judgment, Means’ questionable personal life choices have spilled over into her professional career decisions. Means is married to a gay man and former patient with whom she says she does not live. This is her second marriage. She told the Wichita Eagle that she married him for financial reasons, and she continues to provide him with health insurance since he is bi-polar and apparently unemployable. After the marriage, she continued treating him and members of his family, with whom she lived, which is a breech of medical ethics. She was disciplined by the medical board for not properly terminating the doctor-patient relationship and for other sex-related issues that have been redacted from her public disciplinary documents. Means did not agree with the discipline and believes she was the victim of a family vendetta, since a member of her husband’s family reported her to the authorities.
     She remains married but her husband now lives with his gay lover, and she cohabitates with her boyfriend. In addition, Means continues to pay alimony to her first husband, a bar bouncer who is married to her best friend’s husband, since that marriage failed, creating a further financial strain on her.
     When taken in total, Mean’s checkered background and history of bucking authority and the law raises deep concerns about her moral center and ability to conduct herself in keeping with legal and ethical standards.
     “Means is certainly not an example of the brightest and the best. She is a troubled woman who has resorted to abortion as the last resort to save a failed medical career,” said Newman. “If she starts doing abortions in Wichita, we will see patient deaths. I have no doubt of that. This woman is a walking public health hazard.”
     Newman told the Wichita Eagle that he thinks it is not likely that Means will succeed with her plans to bring abortion back to Wichita.
     “We’re going to do everything legally and morally within our power to keep her from opening an abortion clinic in our city,” said Newman. “And she cannot underestimate our resolve.”

     As recently argued in the 9th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, America is navigating uncharted waters in the Obama assault upon our Constitution and ordered liberty!  We have no historical or legal precedent for the audacious denigration we are suffering upon our lawful institutions of responsible self-government by the Obama regime.

     It is simply a fact that NO controlling legal authority has made a determination in these vital matters.  If in the first instance Obama was never eligible under the Constitution to serve as president, then he sits in the Oval Office unlawfully and must be removed either by the Courts or by Congress.  Further, if found ineligible, Obama has then never been a lawful president and full impeachment proceedings would cease to apply; he would thereby be compelled to resign or be removed from office as a usurper.

     Unless Congress begins formal investigation proceedings NOW, Obama may never be properly vetted and determined to be Constitutionally qualified or not to hold office.  He is actively and aggressively running for re-election – and the lawfulness of his first term could become a pale historical question against the Constitutional damage wrought by toleration of a second unlawful term.

     As Gary Kreep of the U.S. Justice Foundation just argued before the federal Appellate Justices, "Nobody is willing to take on this issue…" even though "John McCain was the subject of Congressional deliberation and analysis on whether he was eligible – and a ruling was issued.  Why McCain and not Obama?"

     It is now clear the Obama Administration is actively working to overthrow the Constitutional protections granted by our Founding Fathers through the separation of powers.  There can be no denying this Administration is in complete contempt of the U.S. Constitution, and in active defiance of the expressed Will of the People, and the Judicial and Congressional branches of the government – in effect replacing the Rule of Law with the seedbed of tyranny.

     Cleon Skousen, in his book The 5,000 Year Leap, lays out a vivid explanation of the separation and balance of powers, illustrated with a three headed eagle.

• Central head = the law-making or legislative function with two eyes – the House and the Senate – and these must both see reasonably eye-to-eye on any piece of legislation before it can become law.
  
• Left head = the Administrative or Executive Department with all authority centered in a single strong President, operating within a clearly defined framework of limited power.
  
• Right head = the Judiciary which was assigned the task of acting as an objective guardian of the Constitution and an interpreter of its principles as originally designed by the Founders.
  
  
• Left Wing = the problem-solving wing attached to the Executive; sensitive to the perceived needs of the people, whose appointees devise elaborate plans to solve these problems.
  
• Right wing = attached to the Congress; has the responsibility of conserving the nation's resources and the people's freedom.  One function is to assess the proposed programs of the left wing to determine propriety, affordability and the effect upon freedom these proposals might have.

 The genius, according to Skousen, of the American system is not only the separation of powers but the fact that all three branches operate through a central system.  The Founders carefully integrated these three departments so that each was coordinated with the others and could not function independently: crafting "Coordination without Consolidation."  Balance is essential, for if both wings fulfill their assigned duties the American eagle will fly straight and high.  However, if either wing becomes overbearing or distorted, the American eagle of governance will drift toward anarchy or tyranny.

     Unfortunately, through its repeated lawlessness and anti-republicanism, the Obama Administration has willfully desecrated the Constitutional balance established by our Forefathers.  This defiance of the Rule of Law has withered the system of checks and balances and established a despotic Executive branch.  The "imperial" presidency with its "czars" and unaccountable bureaucracy is so powerful that neither Congress nor the Judiciary seems able to stop our inevitable slide into Socialism, or even a full dictatorship.  Today, the Left wing and Executive branch completely dwarf the other departments that were intended to hold presidential power balanced and in check.

     If we are to stop the relentless march to Marxism and a complete dictatorship headed by Obama and his Leftist revolutionaries, CONGRESS MUST IMPEACH NOW!  We cannot afford to give Obama even one more day to further illicitly consolidate power.  WE MUST ACT NOW!

YES, thanks to legislation that's just been introduced in Congress: the "Loophole Elimination and Verification Enforcement Act," or "LEAVE Act."      The LEAVE Act was introduced by Rep. Gary Miller, who is from California. Like so many other states, California has good reason to want to finally END America's illegal immigration crisis: Each year, California households alone pay an average of $1,183 EACH to provide health care, education, and incarceration to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.  In these economically challenging times, there is NO REASON that hard-working families in ANY state should be forced to bear these costs.      NOW WE CAN FINALLY PUT A STOP TO THAT! With this new legislation, we can FINALLY GET THAT DONE?      But we need YOUR HELP to get this passed QUICKLY!      The official purpose of the LEAVE Act is "to prohibit all activities that assist, encourage, direct, or induce an alien to reside in or remain in the United States or to attempt to reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that the alien is not authorized to be present in the United States."      This is one of the best pieces of legislation against illegal immigration to be introduced in a long time. Our friends at NumbersUSA have publicized a rundown on all of the specific things that the LEAVE Act would do, including: Prohibit dealings that assist or encourage an illegal alien to cross the border or remain in the United States. Uphold identification security by specifying what forms of identification may be accepted by the federal government or financial institutions. Accepted forms of identification include a Social Security card with a photo ID, a REAL ID Act compliant identification card, a passport, or a USCIS photo identification card. Require federal agencies to coordinate with states to develop an electronic birth and death registration system, which would reduce the number of stolen identities and help prevent Social Security fraud. Mandate new fines and penalties for passport fraud. Make E-Verify (Basic Pilot program) permanent. Require all employees to be verified with the E-Verify program after four years of enactment. Prevent illegal aliens from working in the U.S. Capitol Complex by prohibiting the House of Representatives and the Senate from awarding contracts to any contractor or subcontractor who does not participate in the E-Verify program. Close the self-employed subcontractor loophole by withholding funds to a state or local government that does not require all business license applicants to comply with E-Verify. A company can currently hire a subcontractor to provide goods and services, bypassing the E-Verify process. Prohibit states from issuing driver's licenses unless they first verify citizenship or lawful immigration status. Require the SSA (Social Security Administration) and IRS (Internal Revenue Service) to share information related to the investigation and enforcement of no-match letters. Add an additional 3,000 ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents by 2014. Affirm the right of state and local authorities to enforce immigration laws in the course of carrying out routine law enforcement activities. Require the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) to provide immigration enforcement training for state and local law enforcement officials. Reimburse states and localities for costs associated with immigration enforcement by making grants available for equipment, technology, facilities, and other products that directly relate to investigating, apprehending, arresting, detaining, or transporting illegal aliens. Make the Institutional Removal Program available to all states, which would expedite the deportation of criminal aliens after incarceration. List all immigration violators in the (NCIC) National Crime Information Center Database. Expand the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) to include illegal aliens that have been convicted or charged with a crime. 2nd Amendment - Agency Gone Wild, US Officers Murdered (NAGR)

     Attorney General Eric Holder and his anti-gun cronies at the Justice Department are starting to realize they may be in some hot water.

     But, as was to be expected, they are going to throw someone else under the bus and hope it all goes away!

     After a revealing week of hearings on the horribly corrupt "Project Fast & Furious" -  the BATFE's attempt to create crime in order to make themselves relevant - the head of the ATF, Kenneth Melson, is getting ready to take the fall by resigning.

     I guess Eric Holder still refuses to take any responsibility and is placing all the blame on his subordinates.

     As you now well know, courageous agents within the ATF have been testifying before Congress that senior leadership at both the ATF and the Justice Department forced gun shops to sell firearms to known smugglers who sold the guns to drug cartels in Mexico.

     This disastrous plan resulted in multiple federal agents being shot and killed with weapons that were allowed to "walk" into Mexico.

     And this happened even after agents working on the case warned their superiors that it would happen.

     The response from ATF/Justice Department leadership?

     That a few "eggs" have to be scrambled to make an omelette.

     Now, in light of all this controversy, the acting director of the ATF is trying to take the fall by resigning.

     But this is where it gets really shady.

     Guess who his replacement is supposed to be?

     A man I've been keeping my eye on for a while - Andrew Traver.

    You see, Andrew Traver has been an enemy of gun owners for quite some time.

     As head of the Chicago division of the ATF he has advocated nearly every gun ban you can think of.

     And even some you haven't.

     To give you an idea, he's been Obama's number one choice to head the agency since last year.

     The simple fact is: "he's worse than the guy he's replacing."

     And what's more is that, because he's been the one Eric Holder wanted for quite some time to step in as the director, it is inconceivable that he was not briefed at some point on Project Fast & Furious.

     They've been talking about Traver taking the helm of the BATFE for at least 6 months (that I know of.)

     Do you think that a guy being groomed for that position wouldn't be briefed on the agency's biggest operation?

     I think you know where this is going!

     While it is certainly clear that ATF leadership needs cleaning out, to replace the current director with one who is admittedly anti-gun and clearly involved in what his boss is already in trouble over!

     Well, that's unacceptable in my book.

     I called my Congressman and told him that replacing one leader who has no respect for my rights with another one doesn't "fix" the problem.

     It's an attempt to pacify the public.

     They know it, but they're hoping you don't.

     Give them a call and tell them you know what the Justice Department is trying to do and you're not falling for it.

     Call your Congressman at (202) 224- 3121 and tell them that the ATF needs a serious overhauling and that the Attorney General needs to be held responsible for this flagrant abuse of the law.

     Make sure they know that your Second Amendment rights are more important than funding some rogue Agency Gone Wild.

     I know I'm going to call everyone I know in politics and make sure this doesn't go unnoticed.

Dear Senator Feinstein,

     Thank you for your informative response.

     If abortion was excluded from funding of Planned Parenthood's activities then I could agree with your personal position on the matter; however, as one who believes that the killing of babies is wrong, except in the rare circumstances in which the mother's life is really endangered, I must agree (albeit in a backward sense) with Josef Stalin: "One death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic." in that babies are murdered one-at-a-time.  Abortion is a tragedy.  It is America's Final Solution ...one baby (person) at a time. 

    I am not Jewish and will never fully comprehend what Jews must feel toward the Holocaust but having lived in Europe during the time of Hungary's occupation by the Soviets and having been schooled with refugees from there (shot at while escaping), and having visited Nazi death camps, and knowing a little of my father's opening gates of a death camp toward the end of WWII to rescue those still alive, I have since that time feared the horrors of state sponsored mass murder. 

    For these reasons, and for having experienced the dilemma of a 'life of the mother' situation, it is impossible for me to understand the logic of 'supporting family planning' when that euphamism conceals the wholesale slaughter of human beings ...especially for monied reasons.

    'Family Planning' should mean being educated to take responsibility for one's lifestyle decisions, to be weaned from the 'nanny state, welfare mentality', and to be responsible to prevent pregnancy before what our current President flippantly calls what he referred to as "...making a mistake."  If a woman elects to allow herself to become pregnant, she and her male partner should shoulder the joint responsibility to have the child and either raise it properly or allow a wanting family to provide a good home and life for the child.  It would in the long run be cheaper for the State to support the family and for the child, obviously good.

     There are rare circumstances in which termination at the earliest moments after conception must be considered; however, to allow unfettered, wholesale slaughter of innocents for 'family planning', for population control (e.g. 25% of all Negroes aborted since '73), for 'maintaining a life style', or to save the parent(s) from responsible parenthood is absurd on its face.

    I would think that those whose own Forebearers suffered the horrible atrocities of state sponsored terrorism would have the depth of understanding to agree that They were not simply a "statistic."

Public funds account for roughly a third of Planned Parenthood’s $1 billion annual budget.   Thus, it would appear that approximately that at a minumum $833 was tax paid into Feinsteins personal campaign account.  One could assume that this is but a minuscule representation of the direct and indirect 'pay-ola' funneled to Senator Feinsteins campaign war chest.  And, note that Sen. Feinstein, being a so called 'representative of the people', denigrates the issue of "baby killing" as only being "of personal significance for many people" disregarding the inhumanity of elective abortions ...relegating it to an individual matter not one of greater significance.  Further, What is the one word that she "by choice" selectively omits from her response?  It is easy for her to "roll over the 90% 'tax paid' funding to avoid the obvious that which goes 'unmentioned ...the 'unmentionable' 10%?  Her reference to a "bipartisan" agreement signed into law by "o'bamacide" was committed during the tenure of a Democratically controlled House & Senate.  It is without comment that Senator Feinstein has a 100% lifetime rating from Planned Parenthood who, per 'The American Life League' reported: (as of 23 February 2011) that Planned Parenthood Federation of America recently posted on its web site its so-called service numbers for 2009.  This document, dated February 2011, shows that Planned Parenthood committed 332,278 surgical and medical abortions in 2009 — more than in any previous year!  
     To the credit of Senator Feinstein, whether the response to my prolife message from her was a computer generated auto-response or not, at least she responded unlike the "red diaper baby" Congressman Bob Filer (D-CA 51st) and unlike Senator Boxer (both of whom apparently 'choose' to ignore their constituents.) -- rfh

Dear Mr. Harrold: Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns regarding federal funding provided to Planned Parenthood.  I appreciate the time you took to write and welcome the opportunity to respond. Since my election to the Senate, I have supported Planned Parenthood because I believe the preventive health and contraceptive services it provides are essential for many people who cannot access care anywhere else.  I believe comprehensive family planning services can reduce unplanned pregnancies by providing education, counseling, and contraception.  Ending funding to Planned Parenthood would have left millions of Americans without health services.  90% of Planned Parenthood services are preventive.  This includes family planning, contraception, breast and pelvic exams, cancer and sexually transmitted infection screenings, annual exams, and prenatal and well baby care.  In 2010 in California, Planned Parenthood administered over 84,000 Pap tests and nearly 170,000 breast exams. The funding bill for fiscal year 2011 passed by the House of Representatives (H.R. 1) would have excluded Planned Parenthood from receiving any federal funds.  On March 9, I voted against H.R. 1, which was ultimately rejected by the Senate.  On April 14, 2011, I voted in favor of a bill to fund the government through the end of fiscal year 2011, which was signed into law by the President on April 15, 2011 (Public Law 112-010).  This bipartisan agreement allows Planned Parenthood to continue receiving federal funding. While we may disagree on this issue, I recognize that this is a topic of great personal significance for many people, and I will keep your comments in mind as I continue to review legislation on this topic in the future.
