     I'm sorry Rush Limbaugh called 30-year-old Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a "slut." She's really just another professional femme-a-gogue helping to manufacture a false narrative about the GOP "war on women." I'm sorry the civility police now have an opening to demonize the entire right based on one radio comment — because it's the progressive left in this country that has viciously and systematically slimed female conservatives for their beliefs.
     We have the well-worn battle scars to prove it. And no, we don't need coddling phone calls from the pandering president of the United States to convince us to stand up and fight.
     At his first press conference of the year on Tuesday, the Nation's Concern Troll explained that he phoned Fluke to send a message to his daughters and all women that they shouldn't be "attacked or called horrible names because they are being good citizens." After inserting himself into the fray and dragging Sasha and Malia into the debate, Obama then told a reporter he "didn't want to get into the business of arbitrating" language and civility. Too late, pal.
     The fact is, "slut" is one of the nicer things I've been called over 20 years of public life. In college during the late 1980s, it was "race traitor," "coconut" (brown on the outside white on the inside) and "white man's puppet." After my first book, "Invasion," came out in 2001, it was "immigrant-hater," the "Radical Right's Asian Pitbull," "Tokyo Rose" and "Aunt Tomasina." In my third book, 2005′s "Unhinged," I published entire chapters of hate mail rife with degrading, unprintable sexual epithets and mockery of my Filipino heritage.
     If I had a dollar for every time libs have called me a "Manila whore" and "Subic Bay bar girl," I'd be able to pay for a ticket to a Hollywood-for-Obama fundraiser. To the HuffPo left, whore is my middle name.
Self-serving opponents argue that such attacks do not represent "respectable," "mainstream" liberal opinion about their conservative female counterparts. But it was feminist godmother Gloria Steinem who called Texas Republican Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison a "female impersonator." 
     It was NOW leader Patricia Ireland who commanded her flock to only vote for "authentic" female political candidates.
     It was Al Gore consultant Naomi Wolf who accused the late Jeane Kirkpatrick of being "uninflected by the experiences of the female body."
     It was Matt Taibbi, now of Rolling Stone magazine, who mocked my early championing of the tea party movement by jibing: "Now when I read her stuff, I imagine her narrating her text, book-on-tape style, with a big, hairy set of (redacted) in her mouth. It vastly improves her prose."
     It was Keith Olbermann, then at MSNBC and now at Al Gore's Current TV, who wrote on Twitter that columnist S.E. Cupp was "a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does" and who called me a "mashed up bag of meat with lipstick on it." He stands by those remarks. Olbermann has been a special guest at the White House.
     Some of us have not forgotten when liberal Wisconsin radio host John "Sly" Sylvester outrageously accused GOP Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch of performing "fellatio on all the talk-show hosts in Milwaukee" and sneered that she had "pulled a train" (a crude phrase for gang sex). (Earlier, he called former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice a "black trophy" and "Aunt Jemima.")
     Or when MSNBC misogynist Ed Schultz called talk show host Laura Ingraham a "talk slut" for criticizing Obama's petty beer summit. Or when Playboy published a list of the top 10 conservative women who deserved to be "hate-f**ked." The article, which was promoted by Anne Schroeder Mullins at Politico.com, included Ingraham, "The View's" Elisabeth Hasselbeck, former Bush spokeswoman Dana Perino, GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann and others. Yours truly topped the list with the following description: a "highly f**kable Filipina" and "a regular on Fox News, where her tight body and get-off-my-lawn stare just scream, 'Do me!'"
     And then there's the left's war on Sarah Palin, which would require an entire national forest of trees to publish.
A reporter asked Obama to comment on examples of liberal hate speech at Tuesday's press conference. He whiffed, of course. This is, after all, the brave leader who sat on his hands while his street thugs attacked tea party mothers and grandmothers as "Koch whores" during the fight over union reform in Wisconsin. (As I reported last week, his re-election campaign is now targeting the Koch brothers' private foundation donors in a parallel effort to chill conservative speech and activism.) He's leading by example.
     So no, we won't get any phone calls from Mr. Civility. Acknowledging the war on conservative women would obliterate The Narrative. Enjoy the silence.

     Did I miss the deadline for alternative opinions on Sandra Fluke?

     What with liberal women constantly talking about their vaginas suddenly pretending to be offended by the word "slut," and conservatives pretending to be as pussified as liberals about the nasty names they've been called, I never got an answer to the most pressing question about Sandra Fluke: Who are you again?
     Was Fluke dragged out of obscurity after the women of America took a vote and chose her as our spokeswoman? Please, Sandra, we know how deeply private, publicity-shy and terribly busy with law school you are, but we need you to speak for us!
     I don't think that happened. Rather, Fluke is the latest in a long line of my absolute favorite liberal typology: hysterical drama queens.
     From Murphy Brown to the Jersey Girls, Cindy Sheehan, Joe Wilson and the New School's Jean Rohe, these fantasists inject themselves into a boiling-hot public debate and then claim victim status when anyone criticizes them.
     At least since I've been keeping score, liberals had their first brush with the dark night of fascism in 1992, when Dan Quayle said of a fictional TV character: "It doesn't help matters when prime-time TV has Murphy Brown ... mocking the importance of fathers by bearing a child alone and calling it just another lifestyle choice."
     Suddenly, it was 1939 Germany and multimillionaire Hollywood elites were the Jews.
     At the Emmy Awards ceremony that year, the creator of "Murphy Brown," Diane English, took the occasion to say: "I would like to thank our sponsors for hanging in there when it was getting really dangerous."
     Really dangerous? You want "really dangerous"? Try being a pedestrian crossing Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica when Diane English is being driven to the airport! (A year earlier, English's husband mowed down the matriarch of Santa Monica's Chez Jay, killing her, while driving his wife to the airport.)

     Marge Tabankin, executive director of the Hollywood Women's Political Committee, said: "The community feels targeted. It's created a chill and fear reminiscent of the '50s. Let's face it: We feel we're being used as whipping boys."
     Yes, Hollywood liberals have got balls to spare, and that's why I admire them so much.
     But the Academy Award winners of liberal martyrdom are the Dixie Chicks. In 2003, Chick Natalie Maines sucked up to a Bush-hating London audience by saying, "Just so you know, we're ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas."
     What an odd coincidence that the only city Maines attacked Bush in was London! In a way, it was lucky for the band that, in their entire 60-city world tour, Maines claimed to be embarrassed by Bush only in London and not, say, Lubbock, Texas.
     But at least we had heard of Murphy Brown and the Dixie Chicks before they demanded we all stand in awe of their raw courage.
     Fluke was an absolute nobody who simply thrust herself into the limelight. She's more the Jean Rohe iteration of the liberal drama queen.
     Rohe, you will recall, was the student speaker at the 2006 New School commencement proceedings, who bravely insulted the official speaker, Sen. John McCain.
     As Rohe described her decision to attack the invited speaker, every person she talked to the day before the ceremony hated McCain with blind fury. At two graduation ceremonies a day earlier, attacks on McCain brought wild cheers from the audience.
     Rohe's resolve to tell the audience what it wanted to hear was only hardened when she was told there would be media at the event.
     Sensing that fake heroism was within her grasp, Rohe explained: "It was something I didn't want to do, but knew I had to out of an obligation to my own values" -- such as the value of being popular, of getting a standing ovation and of being praised for her courage.
     Liberals' idea of questioning authority is to check with the authorities to see if a "Question Authority" bumper sticker would be popular.
     So, back to Fluke: Who is she, and how did she become the spokesperson for American womanhood? If we're allowed to submit names, I think we can do better than a Georgetown law student whose claim to fame is that she belongs to a college club on "reproductive justice."
     Pursuing a typical path to liberal heroics, Fluke was an utter nobody whom the Democrats substituted in a last-minute witness-switch to testify about contraception -- as if her haircut isn't birth control enough -- at a hearing on "religious liberty."
     Despite her credentials as a heretofore unheard-of "birth control activist," the Oversight and Government Reform Committee declined to accept this 11th-hour witness on the grounds that Fluke did not have appropriate credentials for any congressional hearing, much less one on religious liberty.
     That was the Republicans' first foray into "silencing" Fluke's "voice."
     Nancy Pelosi used an even less appropriate committee to ensure that Fluke's "voice" would be heard -- the Democrats' Steering and Policy Committee, the normal function of which is to give House Democrats committee assignments.
     One longtime Democratic operative admitted privately that Fluke was the least-qualified witness ever to appear before a congressional committee.
     As a result of the huge commotion the Democrats' made of Fluke's "testimony," she was ridiculed the same way people in ridiculous situations often are. She was called some mean names: "slut," "prostitute," "law student" ...
     In full indignation, Fluke said her critics were trying "to silence women's voices." She said this on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, NPR and a number of other national media outlets.
     Thus, Fluke became a liberal hero even braver than an actress standing up for abortion rights in front of a Bill Maher audience.
     President Obama called Fluke and told her that her parents should be proud of her and to make sure she was OK. Hillary Clinton said conservatives were trying to control women. Bill Clinton called her to see if she had any plans for the weekend.
     (Fluke seems to be holding up wonderfully under the nightmare of constant TV appearances. In fact, if I didn't know better, I'd think she's enjoying herself tremendously.)
     I don't care what liberals believe. Just please stop telling me they're courageous for saying exactly what every non-Fox media outlet in America is dying to hear, or I'll throw up harder than Rick Santorum did when he read John F. Kennedy's speech.

I opine: "Unlike Newt Gingrich, who has keynoted NRA and gun rights organizations speech events & who also posted at the beginning of his campaign a clear and unequivocal position supporting the 2nd Amendment and citizens' right to bear arms, Romney is a 'johnny-come-lately.'  His voting record and governorship and past public statements makes me suspect that he's now pandering to squeeze out every last conservative vote in the remaining states -- simply to draw them away from the other candidates.  He should have come out early and clearly on our right to keep and bear arms ...not when he feels like his momentum is slipping."  -- rfh.

     As the Supreme Court recently reaffirmed, the Second Amendment protects one of the American people's most basic and fundamental individual rights: "the Right to Keep and Bear Arms." The Second Amendment is essential to the functioning of our free society.  Mitt strongly support the right of all law-abiding Americans to exercise their constitutionally protected right to own firearms and to use them for lawful purposes, including hunting, recreational shooting, self-defense, and the protection of family and property.
     Like the majority of Americans, Mitt does not believe that the United States needs additional laws that restrict the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.  He believes in the safe and responsible ownership and use of firearms and the right to lawfully manufacture and sell firearms and ammunition.  He also recognizes the extraordinary number of jobs and other economic benefits that are produced by hunting, recreational shooting, and the firearms and ammunition industry, not the least of which is to fund wildlife and habitat conservation.

     The Washington Post and ABC News released the results of their latest presidential poll over the weekend, and the verdict isn’t very favorable for US President Barack Obama.  According to a recent survey of 1,003 adults, the president’s job approval rating is at a four-month lull, and more American’s disapprove of Obama’s efforts now than last November.  Additionally, the responses from those polled suggest that the president might have a harder time than expected come Election Day: the published results put the president neck-and-neck with some Republican Party frontrunners, even losing to Mitt Romney if Americans were to vote today.
     High gas prices, a talking point that Obama’s GOP opponents have used time and time again to attack the president, seems to be the impetus for the growing opposition. "Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they disapprove of the way the president is handling the situation at the pump, where rising prices have already hit hard," the Washington Post notes in their report. "Just 26 percent approve of his work on the issue, his lowest rating in the poll."
     Coincidently, the Obama administration readdressed gas concerns moments after the results of the poll were published.
     "Despite the gains we've made, today's high gas prices are a painful reminder that there's much more work to do free ourselves from our dependence on foreign oil and take control of our energy future," Obama writes in a release dated Monday. "And that's exactly what our administration is committed to doing in the months ahead."
     Last month, Goldman Sachs said they expected the price of crude to increase by nearly $20-per-barrel during 2012, and others have cited that sanctions and tensions concerning America’s relationship with Iran will only drive prices higher.  Republicans have in turn offered solutions from the right to counter Obama’s failure to fix prices, with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich campaigning heavily over the promise of $2.50-gallon gasoline in his administration.
     Whatever the reason for Obama’s support now slipping, it is not welcoming news for a president who will be up for re-election in a matter of months.  Although the president has previously polled more positively than his opponents, the latest quizzing puts the incumbent two percentage points behind Mitt Romney in a race for the White House.  Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is only neck-and-neck with Obama according to the poll, with a hypothetical race today occurring favoring the current president by only 3 percentage points.  Earlier this month, a separate study published by Rasmussen Reports placed Texas Congressman Ron Paul above Obama in the polls as well.
     According to the latest poll, Obama’s approval rating is only at 46 percent as of March 10, 2012.  The last time he sunk that low was this past November, when only 44 percent of those surveyed suggested they were happy with the administration.  Obama’s approval rating was at 68 percent when he entered office in early 2009, although Washington Post and Pew polls since have put him at 59 percent or lower since July of that year.

     (Paulding County, Georgia) Today, the Paulding County Republican Examiner was alerted to a talk show host based in Canada, Ezra Levant, who hosts a show called The Source and does so for Canada's Sun News on his research about Obama and the Keystone Pipeline dilemma.
     Mr. Levant took a comprehensive look at Obama's policy over the Keystone Pipeline. Two things, among several, were pointed out in his presentation that can be viewed here.
     On the subject of the Keystone XL Pipelinf, Mr. Levant stated that Obama is lying.
     One of the points he raised concerned Obama promise while running for President in 2008 in which Obama stated, "I will eliminate foreign oil imports in 10 years" in which Mr. Levant stated, "He lied."
     The second point in his report pertains to concerns raised about the "pristine, environmentally sensitive area" through which the pipeline will pass. This environmental issue has been the most debated as if the Keystone pipeline were to be granted, it would ruin this environmentally sensitive area.
     The problem is; it isn't true. What has not been shown are the thousands of miles of pipelines, some of them very old and they use older technology than the proposed Keystone pipeline that presently runs through the Ogallala Aquifer.
     If that wasn't enough, today, Obama states on his re-election website, "I have made protecting the environment a priority, moving us toward energy independence, investing in clean energy jobs, and taking steps to improve the quality of our air and water. As of November 2010, my policies have helped create hundreds of thousands of jobs in the clean energy industry."
     Obama further says, "Rather than accept congressional Republicans' arbitrary and rushed deadline to study the health, safety, and environmental consequences of the Keystone XL pipeline, the President rejected the project's application."
     In today's national news, the Democrats in Congress are once again increasingly putting pressure on Wall Street speculators to pull back from the oil markets, effectively blaming them for the unseasonable spike in oil and gas prices. The real reasons are not necessarily because of Wall Street, which democrats have always blamed for rising oil prices. The real reason lies with not telling the whole story, the use of politics, and pushing a democrat agenda, the environmental issue.
     The Democrats concern of the environment appears to be a false play in politics as reasoned by a professor in Nebraska. Professor Jim Goeke, a Hydro-geologist at the University of Nebraska put it this way, "A leak of the Keystone XL Pipeline would not affect the majority of the Ogallala Aquifer ... those who think that a leaking pipeline will destroy the aquifer in Nebraska need to understand that it would be localized to an area of 10's or 100's of feet around the pipeline. When people say the whole Ogallala Aquifer is at risk, THEY'RE WRONG."
     Two days ago, American Petroleum Institute President and CEO Jack Gerard said, "The U.S. cannot control unrest in the Middle East, international supply disruptions, or rising worldwide demand, but it can increase world supply of crude oil by developing more of our own ample oil resources."  And today, Mr. Gerard replied to Fox News, that he blamed high prices on Obama's "weak energy policy" at a Republican-held House hearing on Wednesday.  He said more drilling could put "downward pressure" on prices.
While Paulding County and the nations residents continue to pay for higher gas prices at the pump, the Canadians feel that Obama will continue to accept foreign oil from the Middle East and other non-friendly countries while putting Canada on notice that the pipeline is not worth it.

Dear Mr. Burton:    Having watched President Obama’s press conference yesterday afternoon we find ourselves in agreement with him regarding the inflammatory issues that have arisen in the media.  We are sure we can all agree we have arrived at what the President might call a "teachable moment".
     We were pleased to see Rush Limbaugh apologize for his incredibly unkind and insensitive remarks towards women during his recent radio broadcast. These types of remarks towards women have no place in public discourse – they are wrong, and offensive.
     It was an important gesture that President Obama approved the time in his schedule to place a call to the woman to whom the offensive remarks were directed.  As parents of daughters ourselves, we were proud when we heard him say he took a personal stand on this issue with the hopes of always allowing his daughters the ability to have their own beliefs in the future.  President Obama said, "One of the things I want them to do as they get older is to engage in issues they care about, even ones I may not agree with them on."
     President Obama has categorically condemned this sort of language against any woman.  We are calling on you today to put the President's words to action by condemning the equally egregious and despicable behavior of HBO talk show host Bill Maher.
     Mr. Maher has a history of attacking women and recently attacked a host of women including a specifically violent attack at one woman who regularly, as the President says, “engages in the issues she cares about” and is a mother of three daughters and grandmother.
     Mr. Maher, who disagrees with Sarah Palin's politics, has called her a litany of adjectives inappropriate to repeat in any setting and are of the most derogatory of terms reserved for only violent verbal hate crimes against women.  We understand that he has donated $1 million dollars of his personal money paid to him through various businesses that thrive on the ratings of his hate speech to your Priorities USA Action to aid in your efforts to re-elect President Obama.
     President Obama eloquently stated today in his press conference that, "all decent folks can agree that the remarks that were made don't have any place in the public discourse.”
     We are certain you agree with him, as do we that these types of remarks have no place in our society and the people that unapologetically make them must not be allowed to purchase a seat at the table of public discourse. Therefore, we are calling on Priorities USA Action and you to live up to the standard set by President Obama and take Mr. Maher’s million dollars and pay it forward.
     Prove to American’s that your group is run by “decent folks” that President Obama speaks of. Donate this money to a charity of your choosing that focuses on supporting abused women and children.
     We look forward to your action and joining with the President in ending hate speech against women.
