news - Outrageous cartoon in today's IV Press [Imperial Valley Press "newspaper"]

Mocking a war combat veteran's wounds and thereby his defense of our Country is trash journalism at its worse.  I didn't think the "IV Press" would ever stoop this low with a yellow journalism left leaning agenda.  Publishing under the guise of "Another View ... Voice of the People" doesn't absolve the paper's responsibility.   Imagine what the IV Press would say if a veteran was missing a leg or a hand!  They could have a field day mocking our Wounded Warriors.   Advertisers' ad money should look for a new home.  The owners, publisher, editors and author should apologize to their intended victim and they should make an apology to all of the public ... to all policemen, veterans, active duty military, reservists and Guard, and most especially to the memory of The Fallen.   Whether an apology is made or not, my advertisement money would not be with this "newspaper."  Demeaning Soldiers is representative of what's wrong with Our Country from the top down.  My vote in November will be for a man whose Values are firmly rooted in America and not grown from some foreign ideology bent on destroying the United States.
At least we have the monthly "Desert Voice newspaper." ~~ rfh
