o'scamcare - $105 Billion secret funds: Call/Fax Congress to repeal/defund the fraud (Bachmann R-MN)

Last week, my colleagues and I were shocked and appalled to find a provision in the Obamacare bill which appropriates $105 billion towards its funding- a complete and fraudulent circumvention of the legislative process.      In the bill, instead of following the rules and letting the next Congress go through the appropriations process, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats appropriated billions of dollars in funding for Obamacare without holding a single hearing, or even allowing Members of Congress a chance to read the bill. I guess this is what Nancy Pelosi meant when she said "we have to pass the bill, so you can find out what is in it." Even Democrats in Congress were surprised to hear this shocking news.

Without further action, the bill will be funded, and our efforts will have failed.      I've drafted a petition, and recorded a special video message, to ensure that ObamaCare is defunded. I urge you to immediately take a minute to sign this petition and watch the video by following this link. We must immediately send a message to every Member of Congress that even a single dollar more of federal spending is unacceptable until Obamacare is defunded.      In order to really put pressure on Congress to take immediate action, we need to collect hundreds of thousands of signatures from like-minded conservatives. Last week at Bloodmoney, we discussed the racist, eugenic origins of Planned Parenthood by studying the career of its founder, Margaret Sanger.  A common response to all this is, "that was decades ago. Is Planned Parenthood still racist today?" Certainly they'd never admit it explicity.      But Planned Parenthood's founders had recommended sterilization and segregation as primary birth control tools, and immediately after those tactics failed legally, abortion appeared on the scene, and minorities were targeted for abortion just as heavily as they were targeted before for sterilization and segregation.        The sad truth: abortion became a far more effective and lucrative eugenic tactic than anything that came before it.      More sadly still, the eugenic movement seduced African American leadership by rebranding eugenic birth control as a civil right, and sold it through something they called "The Negro Project."

     Dr. Clarence Gamble (of Proctor and Gamble fame) who had served as director of the Birth Control League and was appointed as the regional director of the South, sent Sanger a memo entitled “Suggestion for Negro Project,” where he warned that black leaders would likely see her strategy as a plot to exterminate the blacks.  His solution?  Enlist carefully selected black leaders to spread the word instead.  They’d take the pill if it were from their own people and no one would suspect a thing!

     In Sanger’s reply letter on Dec. 10. 1939, she agreed with his strategy. “We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

     According to the Guttmacher Institute, black women are 5 times more likely than white women to have an abortion. Since Roe v Wade, 10% of the white race has been wiped out, but 28% of the black race has been wiped out. The black community makes up only 12% of the American population, but they have 36% of all the abortions–so black babies are dying more than 3x as fast! By 2008, close to 14,000,000 black babies have been killed by abortion.    

      These numbers are far more aggressive than anything accomplished by sterilization. Abortion has been more effective at achieving the eugenic agenda than forced sterilization ever was, because the birth control + abortion methodology is far more effective: instead of traumatizing women against their will, now they sell it as freedom, sell it as choice, sell it as a government funded service, and make hundreds of millions of dollars in the process, while achieving the same result: a declining black population.  This is a matter of historical fact: to maintain stable population, each family must have 2.1 children. Since 2003, the black community has dropped below that line, and is on the decline.

     Last week, Planned Parent-hood founder Margaret Sanger was examined for evidence of a racist and eugenic agenda in her early work, and was caught red-handed.  Her colleagues had ties with the Third Reich, and spoke publicly about the “Jew Problem” and the “black peril.”  (Knopf, 1925.)   She herself called black aborigines “just a step higher than the chimpanzee.”  (What Every Girl Should Know, 1920.)

     We know Barack Obama wants to redistribute the wealth of Americans ... we heard him say it on Chicago public radio. We heard him say it to Joe the Plumber. And we heard him say it to the NAACP. Every action he has taken while in office has been to inhibit individual success and redistribute success for the "collective good."
     But here is something you may not have realized: Obama is not only taking the middle class's money and giving it to minority classes in America. He is sending America's working class "wealth" to the third world in the form of carbon credit payments to the emerging nations. Why? To transform the third world into a modern industrial megaplex as he converts America into...Detroit.
     When Obama is finished with the United States, it will resemble a third world country in terms of wealth. And the human capital-rich emerging nations will have a piece of our success because we will have sent all our money there to support Cap & Trade regulations.
     Even before the global warming summit in Cancun began in December, 2010, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change (IPCC) Working Group III co-chair Ottmar Edenhofer said the conference had "almost nothing to do with the environmental policy." Its real purpose "is redistributing the world's wealth and natural resources."
     The American Power Act is the climate lobby's latest Robin Hood scheme. Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT) are pushing the Act, which would give international offset credits to countries that reduce deforestation. It also calls for the Secretary of Agriculture and the EPA to create a program "to provide assistance to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation in developing countries, in accordance with this title."
     YOU AND I WILL PAY FOR THESE PROGRAMS.
     More than 1,000 scientists have openly challenged the IPCC - and the environmentalists don't like it.
     Scientists have already debunked global warming theories, but media sympathizers and a powerful climate lobby have done everything they can to ignore or discredit those who have dared speak the truth.
     Ellen Goodman of the Boston Globe wrote that those who deny global warming "are now on a par with Holocaust deniers."     

     Swedish climatologist Dr. Hans Jelbring accused climate cons of relying on inadequate computer models to blame CO2 and innocent citizens for global warming, to generate funding, gain attention and influence public policy.

     "If this is what science has become," he added, "I, as a scientist, am ashamed."
     John P. Holdren, Obama's Science Czar, supports international wealth redistribution and believes should be distributed from countries in the global "North" to countries in the "South."

     He said, "It's important that we have a global agreement on how we are going to limit the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases going forward, and an agreement that will include the tropical forests, that will include ways to transfer some of the revenues from carbon taxes or carbon emission permits in the North to pay for reduced deforestation in the South."
     In a college textbook he co-wrote, Holdren said the United States must set an example for the world by undergoing "de-development" and wealth must be redistributed "...with and among nations." (This is the same textbook in which he advocated mass sterilizations and abortions. Holdren believes HUMANS are the problem with the world. If you are going to have the nerve to actually BE ALIVE, then you must pay the price for that by giving up your earnings to others).
     Luckily for Holdren, he hooked up with a President who shares these views and now they are both in a position to make their vision a reality---while you and I pay for it.

     Al Gore has become a billionaire off the global warming hoax - but you don't see him giving away his income to you, me, or anyone else on the planet.

     Christine Stewart, former environmental minister of Canada said, "Climate change (provides) the greatest chance to bring out justice and equality in the world. No matter if the science is all phony, there are still collateral environmental benefits."
     And that, right there, is the truth behind the global warming hoax - it is a mechanism through which the Left can enact their vision of social change.
     And, again---you and I are going to pay for it.
     Japan has postponed plans for a national emissions trading scheme after powerful business groups warned they would lose jobs competing against rivals in other countries with fewer emissions regulations. That explains why the nation which gave us the Kyoto Protocol has just rejected the Kyoto Protocol.
     Barack Obama's environmental policies are not going to enhance the world - they are going to destroy the United States and send our money to the elitists who are drumming up this phony science to profit the emerging nations.
     According to AccuWeather, this past winter was the coldest on record since 1985 for nearly the entire eastern half of the United States - but global warming supporters say - you guessed it - it's VERY COLD because GLOBAL WARMING IS CAUSING IT TO BE COLD.

     An Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on adrenalin, and their buddy in the White House, Barack Obama, are joining with assertive global warming activists to continue their sloppy science myth of climate change---and make us the bad guy who has to pay for their lies.

Obama is offended by our free market system and our "over" development. Cap & Trade is one way he can make us "pay" for our economic freedom.

      Connecting Bush, Not Obama to High Prices: As gas prices rose in 2008, network reporters mentioned President Bush in 15 times as many stories, than they brought up President Obama in a similar period in 2011.

     Gallons of coverage in 2008: Comparing a 20 day span of rising gas prices in 2008 to 24 days of rising prices in February 2011, the Business & Media Institute found the networks did more than 2 ½ times as many stories during the Bush years versus Obama.

     Unrest in the Mideast has hit American consumers hard, driving up gas prices that had already been above $3-a-gallon since Dec. 23. The national average for gasoline hit $3.36 on Feb. 28, the highest ever for the month of February according to The Associated Press. But the amount of network news coverage of rising gas prices did not reflect it.

     All three broadcast networks together averaged just one story about rising gas prices per day. In contrast, when gas prices rose similarly in 2008, the networks averaged more than one story, per network, per day.

     It took 24 days, from Feb. 1, to Feb. 24 for the national average for unleaded gasoline to climb from $3.101 to 3.228. The last comparable period of "eye-popping" gas prices: the 20 days between Feb. 21, 2008, and March 11, 2008, when the national average climbed from $3.086 to $3.227.

     Some 2008 reports including the March 6, 2008, "Early Show" exaggerated the already rising prices by emphasizing extremely high prices. That morning CBS showed viewers a California gas pump that was charging $5.19-a-gallon for regular unleaded before mentioning the national average for that day, which was $2.02 lower. Some 2011 reports have reversed that trend by downplaying the impact of currently high gas prices on consumers by using words like "inching" to describe rising prices, or calling U.S. prices "a bargain compared to Europe."

    The Business & Media Institute examined all the broadcast network news reports mentioning gas prices during each of those time periods and found ABC, CBS and NBC aired more than 2 ½ times more stories (63 stories to 24) in 2008 than they did in 2011.

     But it was more than just the amount of coverage that showed the media's willingness to spin gas prices one way under Bush, and another way under Obama. In 2008, network reporters mentioned "Bush," the "president" or "government" in gas price reports 15 times more often than in 2011 under President Obama (15 stories to 1). A number of stories portrayed Bush as out-of-the-loop when he was asked about the possibility of $4-a-gallon gas and hadn't yet heard that prediction.

     In contrast to the 15 reports referencing the Bush administration when gas prices were "through the roof," the only 2011 story to mention the president was NBC "Nightly News" on Feb. 24. Tom Costello's report on the impact of surging gas prices quoted President Obama who was "optimistic."

     Obama said, "We actually think that we'll be able to ride out the Libya situation and it will stabilize." Costello didn't question the president's statement or mention any of the administration's policies that will constrict the supply of oil and gasoline and could further increase the price of gasoline for consumers.

Networks Fail to Mention Obama's Anti-Oil Actions

President Obama is the most anti-oil president in years and has taken specific steps to limit domestic oil production including a moratorium on deepwater drilling in May 2010 after the BP spill and the recent imposition of new regulations on the industry. Yet, the networks refused to notice in the recent gas prices stories BMI analyzed, just as they did in December 2010.

     Not a single one of 2011 stories about rising gas prices BMI examined brought up any of Obama's anti-oil policies despite the impact they could have on supply and prices.

     Obama's drilling ban was overturned by a federal court judge in June, but his administration continued to enforce it. On Feb. 3, Bloomberg reported that the administration "acted in contempt" of court by doing so.

     U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman ruled on June 22, 2010, that the ban was "overly broad," according to Bloomberg. The following month Interior Secretary Ken Salazar put a second moratorium into effect, but voluntarily lifted it in October.

     Some industry insiders claim there is still an "informal moratorium" on offshore drilling. "President Obama claims to have lifted the Gulf moratorium, yet not a single deepwater permit has been issued in nine months," Jim Adams, the Offshore Marine Service Association's president, said in a press release quoted by Bloomberg.

     Adams said the consequences have been thousands of lost jobs and higher prices for gasoline and heating oil. At least one company, Seahawk drilling, has filed for bankruptcy blaming Obama administration policies.

     The Heritage Foundation wrote on Jan. 11, 2011, that only two new deepwater permits have been issues since the end of the Obama moratorium, "down 88 percent from the historical average." Heritage also said shallow-water permits are down 11 percent. The Obama administration has also cancelled four pending lease sales in Alaska and reinforced existing offshore drilling bans, which prevent exploration in 85 percent of coastal waters. 

    "The lack of exploration and production means fewer jobs for out-of-work Americans and less money flowing into federal coffers," Heritage concluded.     Action on at least several of those permits may be forthcoming now that Feldman has ordered Salazar to decide on five permit applications from Ensco within 30 days.     Investor's Business Daily argued in a recent editorial that the Obama administration is intentionally allowing prices to spike in order to make green energy more desirable.

     On the issue of rising prices, IBD editorialized: "It's not just Mideast turmoil that has brought us to this point. It's also a deliberate program of restricting domestic energy to make so-called green energy more attractive and necessary, keeping an Obama campaign promise that energy prices would 'necessarily skyrocket' on his energy agenda."

What High Gas Prices Mean for the U.S. Economy?

    Moratoriums and permit delays have already costs jobs and threatened businesses and "soaring" gas prices could damage the fragile U.S. economy even more. Some analysts have predicted $5-a-gallon gasoline which would be "devastating," but "serious" consequences could result even if prices only reach the $3.75-a-gallon range.

     AP reported that some businesses are already taking the hit for extra fuel costs because they don't think the economy is strong enough to pass it on in the form of higher prices.     In that same report, AP quoted Oil Price Information Service's chief oil analyst Tom Kloza. "[He] believes that the normal seasonal rise in prices has been pulled ahead by events in the Middle East, but he still expects prices to rise further. He predicts prices will reach $3.50 to $3.75 per gallon, barring more chaos in the Middle East," AP said.     Kloza said that would have "very serious consequences for the economy."     AP also reported that, "Over a year, analysts estimate, oil at $100 a barrel would reduce U.S. economic growth by 0.2 or 0.3 of a percentage point. Rather than grow an estimated 3.7 percent this year, the economy would expand 3.4 percent or 3.5 percent. That would likely mean less hiring and higher unemployment."

     According to John Challenger, chief executive officer of global outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, rising fuel prices be the "biggest obstacle yet" to job growth. Challenger said in a release, "Companies will be reluctant to pass along their higher fuel costs to consumers. So, the more companies are required to spend on fuel, the less they have to spend on expansion and hiring."
     Higher prices, such as the $5-a-gallon prediction would be even worse for the economy. University of Maryland economist Peter Morici told BMI: "$5-a-gallon would be devastating if it's in 2011, if it's in 2014 it might not be devastating. But right now, if we went to that by July it would kill the recovery. It is unlikely that we will get to $5-a-gallon because it would kill the recovery before that point and then prices would go down."

     That is not going to solve our problems and the Obama administration knows it! 
     Mideast destabilization is now driving up the price of crude, now over $100.00 per barrel. The excessive price of oil not only has a devastating impact on consumer goods, but on interest rates as well. 
     "Cheap oil" used to be Mideast oil because it was the least expensive place in the world to drill. That is no longer the case. Yet, the United States is totally dependent on foreign oil.

     THAT IS WHY WE MUST TELL OUR GOVERMENT "DRILL, BABY, DRILL!" 
      The unrest in the Middle East matters because the price of crude oil rises with the temperatures of the times---and times in that region are currently VERY HOT. 
     Relying on Middle Eastern oil is placing our future in the hands of our enemies. That is a risky position to be in. 
     The logical solution to this problem would be to drill here, in America, where we have plenty of resources. But the Obama administration and his environmental terrorist friends are preventing us from drilling off U.S. shores! 
     American citizens need to INSIST we tap into our own resources and stop depending on the volatile Middle East region.
     Is our future $5.00 per gallon of gasoline, or $8.00 per gallon, $10.00 per gallon, or even higher? That is very likely if something is not done IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE to relieve the pressure valve. That relief valve may very well be the U.S. domestic oil industry itself even though, today, that industry is mostly shut out of its own country. 
     Every oil-producing country in the world is drilling in the Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico, and along the California coast---EXCEPT THE UNITED STATES!! Our government is subservient to the fears that environmentalists have raised. It begs the question: Who are the environmentalists in bed with, other than the Democrats? 

     Drilling for oil here in America would not only reduce our prices and prevent us from being at the mercy of the volatile Middle Eastern region---but it would also BRING JOBS TO AMERICA. 
     AND WE HAVE ALL THE OIL WE NEED RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. 
     The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) worked with the North Dakota Geological Survey and other experts to study the Bakken Formation in North Dakota and Montana. 
     James Bartis, leading researcher with the study, says America has more oil in the Bakken Formation than the entire Middle East. 
     The Department of Interior believes that North Dakota and Montana have an estimated 3 to 4.3 billion barrels of recoverable oil in this area, and it could be extracted at an approximate cost to Americans of only $16 a barrel. 
     Studies indicate there may be more than one trillion barrels of oil in oil shale, a type of sedimentary rock found in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado's Western Slope. THAT IS NEARLY THREE TIMES THE RESERVES IN SAUDI ARABIA. 
     America would have a sufficient oil supply for the next 400 years. 

     What are we waiting for?

     The bottom line: 60% of the U.S. oil supply comes from foreign sources. The environmentalists have STOPPED US FROM DRILLING HERE, every step of the way! 
     The Obama Administration would rather supposedly "save the environment" and GIVE MONEY TO TERRORISTS, just so we can get oil! 
     NO LONGER can America stand to be at the whims and wishes of Middle East terrorists or Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. When we rely more and more on foreign oil---that spells disaster. 
     By depending upon our enemies for oil, the price of oil will erupt like a nuclear explosion. Unless we produce for ourselves, we will soon think that $5 per gallon oil will be quite a bargain. Again, we can thank the liberal environmentalists for slowing our production over the past few years! 
     We must do something NOW. Not tomorrow. Tomorrow will be too late. The oil and oil reserves of America is at risk. The bottom line: WE MUST PRODUCE MORE! We must not "cow down" to the wishes of the liberal environmentalists.

     OK Mr President, I'm with you..... Biting the bullet - cutting expenses..  I HOPE YOU WILL PARTICIPATE AND DO YOUR PART.

     The President ordered the cabinet to cut $100 million from the $3.5 trillion federal budget.  I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget.  I spend about $2000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc, but it's time to get out the budget cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut back.

     I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio, 1/35,000 of my total budget.  After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2000 a month; I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents.  Yes, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about.  I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, luxuries.

'Silent No More' about Planned Parenthood

     ROME  – While having various meetings at the Vatican regarding the pro-life movement, Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, announced that the women and men of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign (a joint project of Priests for Life and Anglicans for Life) are raising their voices about their experiences at Planned Parenthood as the U.S. Senate prepares for its vote on whether to defund the world's largest abortion business.

     For instance, Sherry Coleman Wright states,

"I was 17 years old - the lady at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Council Bluffs, Iowa told me I could go to Women's Services clinic in Omaha, Nebraska, to get the procedure.  My boyfriend at the time was 23 or 24 and I was told not to mention that or he would get into trouble.  I don't feel like they really had my best interest in mind.  From what I understand, they still give young girls the same advice.  I was devastated by that abortion and my life spiraled downward."  

     Christy Annison tells us,

"I had a botched abortion in Atlanta's Planned Parenthood abortion clinic.  The doctor left the dead fetus inside and I needed immediate medical attention.  For the health of women, please defund Planned Parenthood."

Propagandists Target Pence Amendment Last week the US House of Representatives did something that has been a long time in coming: they passed the Pence Amendment as part of a federal spending bill which includes a provision to cut taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is notorious for its radical support of child killing in the womb (i.e., abortion). In fact, PP has slaughtered over 4 million preborn babies and kills 5,871 innocent human beings every week. Further, recent investigations by LiveAction have revealed the scandal-plagued abortion organization has employees who are willing to ignore criminal activity when an abortion has been requested. Here is how Rep. Pence introduced the legislation to de-fund PP:

     Is it any surprise the pro-abortion extremists are now targeting Pence's provision and demanding that taxpayers fund one of the world's most prolific abortion providers? Their method is to misrepresent the Amendment as blocking funding for organizations and activities, such as Title X, and pretend it isn't about cutting taxpayer dollars to a notorious abortion provider. Yes, this is misrepresentation, exaggeration and fear mongering.
     Here's Rep. Pence's response:
          First, the Pence Amendment does not cut any funding for women's health services under Title X. It would simply block those funds already in the bill from subsidizing America's largest abortion provider.
               In fact, it has never been my ambition to reduce funding for Title X services. I applaud the important work done at Title X clinics, such as pregnancy diagnosis, breast cancer screening and HIV testing. I support young women getting the access to care they need and deserve. My legislation would help protect women who find themselves in crisis pregnancies by ensuring they receive access to unbiased and compassionate health services.

               Second, critics have asserted that if Planned Parenthood is denied funding there would be no other organizations available to provide these services to women in our larger cities. This too is incorrect.

               There are literally thousands of clinics across the country -- other than Planned Parenthood -- that receive federal funding and offer access to health care for low-income women and families.

               In Indiana, for instance, some of these clinics include: Open Door clinics in both Anderson and Muncie; Lafayette Street Clinic in Fort Wayne; Women's Urgent Visit Center in Indianapolis, and Tri-Cap Family Health Services in Evansville. Around the country, clinics from Maine to Florida and New Mexico to Washington serve the needs of women, such as the Augusta Family Planning Clinic, the Children's Hospital Adolescent Clinic, the Lake Worth Teen Time Clinic, Healthcare for the Homeless, and the Forks Women's Clinic -- just to name a few.

               The passage of the Pence Amendment was a victory for taxpayers and a victory for life, and I am hopeful our colleagues in the Senate will join us in ending federal funding for Planned Parenthood once and for all.

     Those speaking out against the Pence Amendment need to listen to this video one more time and ask whether or not taxpayers should be funding this type of "service".
