Steve King, (Congressman, R-IA), Thursday, March 18, 2010 quote concerning the Health (and now Education too) bill.

 

"Today, the Senate version could not pass the Senate.

It can't pass the House because they have to use the "deemed" it pass 'Slaughter' language to make that work.

 

So, for the 1st time in the history of America, a bill that doesn't have the support of the Senate
