Co-op/Public Option = Government-Run Health Care August 28, 2009 The House version of Obama's health care reform plan (H.R. 3200) contains a so-called "public" option that will be a government-run health care system through the Department of Health and Human Services. The Senate is working on similar legislation that will also contain a government-run health care option. Liberals and even some conservatives are now pushing for the creation of a health care co-op option, which is supposedly designed to be a blending of federal bureaucrats and non-profit health groups. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) described co-ops as a "public option," depending on how they're set up. According to Reid "We're going to have some type of public option, call it 'co-op,' call it what you want." In short, the Senate and House are offering Americans two kinds of government-run health bureaucracies. One is the fascist model, where the federal government controls, but does not own the co-operatives; or the pure socialist model, where the federal government runs its own health care system and eventually drives out private health insurance companies altogether. | | | Former Senator Tom Daschle Acting As Stealth Health Czar August 28, 2009 Former liberal South Dakota Senator Tom Daschle was in line to become Obama's Secretary of Health and Human Services until his failure to pay taxes became public early this year. It has now been revealed that Daschle has been functioning as a stealth czar for Obama by providing consulting advice to senior Obama aide Peter Rouse and health-care reform czar Nancy-Ann DeParle. (Her husband is Jason DeParle, a reporter for the New York Times.) Daschle also met with Obama on August 21 for a strategy meeting, according to the Washington Post. It is widely acknowledged in Washington, D.C., that Daschle is the primary architect of Obama's plan to seize control of our health care system. Daschle currently has four former aides now working in the White House and it was Daschle who suggested that Obama go on vacation to let things cool down over the health care issue. | | | Entire Health Care Bill, H.R. 3200 Is THE 'Death Panel' August 28, 2009 Members of the so-called "mainstream media" are going berserk over former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin attacking what she termed "death panels" in President Obama's health care reform legislation. Interestingly enough, the Senate Finance Committee decided to remove "end of life" language from its version of the health care package because of all of the controversy surrounding death panels. The "end of life" provision is still in the House version, H.R. 3200. In fact, the entire bill is a death panel. Various sections sprinkled throughout the bill set up federal boards that will determine who gets care, what kind of treatment they'll receive, what kind of medicines and equipment can be used, and who will end up having their care rationed. | | | Veteran's Administration Pushes 'Death Book' On Soldiers August 28, 2009 The Obama-run Veteran's Administration is facing criticism for offering injured soldiers a booklet called "Your Life, Your Choices," which was written by a physician who favors doctor-assisted suicide. The booklet was shelved by the Bush Administration after former White House Faith-Based Initiative Office head Jim Towey exposed its pro-death message to veterans. Towey was on "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace to discuss this pro-euthanasia, pro-suicide book. | | | President Obama Continues To Spin Deception About Health Care Plan August 28, 2009 Everywhere he goes, President Obama tells the same myth about health care reform. In New Hampshire, he told an audience: "Under the reform we're proposing, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan." This is clearly untrue. Here are the reasons why this is untrue: | | | Democrats Outline How To Disrupt Town Hall Meetings August 28, 2009 A Democrat Health Care Reform Now (HCAN) manual describes how to disrupt Town Hall meetings and to undermine the efforts of grassroots Americans to challenge their legislators on Obama's government-run health care plans. The manual was sent out to HCAN agitators by Margarida Jorge, who is a former labor organizer for the Service Employees International (SIEU). Jorge has long been involved in leftist politics and her Facebook lists the gay marriage group "Marriage Equality" as one of her favorite organizations. Jorge was an agitator for the Missouri Citizen Education Fund that accused John Ashcroft of supporting white supremacists. She's clearly a hard-core leftist. Her manual, "HCAN Responding To Right-Wing Attacks In The Field" describes Americans who attend Town Hall meetings as "tea-baggers" a gay pejorative and as "right-wing activists" who are supposedly arriving at Town Hall meetings to be as disruptive as possible. | | disrupt, SIEU, white supremacists, right wing, tea-baggers, activists, HCAN, deception, spin, hocus pocus, VA, Veterans Administration, death panel, H.R. 3200, HR 3200, euthanasia, assisted suicide, Daschle, facist, public option, Marxist, communist, Red, commie | | |
