WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: Overwhelm the system! WAYNE ALLYN ROOT Barack Obama is no fool.  He is not incompetent.  To the contrary, he is brilliant.  He knows exactly what he's doing.  He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.  Barack Obama is my college classmate ( Columbia University , class of '83).   As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University.  They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands.  Add up the clues below.  Taken individually they're alarming.  Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government.  Why not?  They have no responsibility to pay for it. -- Universal health care.  The health care bill had very little to do with health care.  It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions.)   Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt.  What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government.  Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression? -- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming.  It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors.  Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants.  They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power.  The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around." -- Make Puerto Rico a state.  Why?  Who's asking for a 51st state?  Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression?  Certainly not American taxpayers.  But this has been Obama's plan all along.  His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government. -- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants.  Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America.  But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government.  Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security. -- Stimulus and bailouts.  Where did all that money go?  It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country.  It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues.   It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions.)   A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues.)  All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America.  The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful.  The ends justify the means. -- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators.  Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama.)  Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government.  Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition. With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system. Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan.

The Domestic Attack

The accusation that the Obama administration is “tone deaf” to American angst over health care reform is gaining more credence with each passing day. As President Obama continues talking instead of listening, as well as alienating the very industry whose support of reform is a necessity (and certain reforms are necessary, including tort reform), the president is spending too much time on the attack and, in so doing, provides his detractors with even more fodder. What is exacerbating the reported American anger toward the administration is that the president and his administration are making allegations without a shred of substantive evidence. In other words, people are put off by the obvious Chicago-style thuggery in the White House spin on the health care debate. The Obama administration is missing a golden opportunity to “hear” the America it claims to represent, instead of furthering the widely-held belief that Obama only represents radical leftists and their agenda for the country.

Simultaneously, we see President Obama behaving in the same manner as Iran’s president when it comes to the issue of the Fourth Estate’s First Amendment rights. Moreover, contravening Obama’s assertions to the contrary concerning the “Fairness Doctrine,” his appointment of Mark Lloyd as the Federal Communication Commission’s “Chief Diversity Officer” is a clear message to conservatives to beware, since Lloyd “laid out a ‘battle plan’ for liberal activists to target conservative talk radio stations in 2007.” When viewed in light of Obama’s comments, Pelosi’s accusations, the White House press secretary’s disinformation campaign attacking Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, the mainstream media’s reaction, other individuals holding the administration’s and congress’ feet to the fire on the issue of Obamacare, the use of swastikas by liberals, and the police interviewing a political dissenter there is certainly more evidence giving credence to conservative fears than there is any basis for accusing insurance companies and other health care industry players of conspiring to block health care reform.

If we add the General Electric-owned MSNBC’s vilification of Americans into the equation — the very Americans responsible for providing GE $1 billion in stimulus money — and the White House email controversy, Americans have every right to worry that the current administration is out to stifle constitutionally-guaranteed dissent in its efforts to ram through a socialistic agenda. And then there’s the obvious disparity between the words and behavior of Obama’s supporters, Senator Reid, and Speaker Pelosi insisting that liberal dissent is permissible (even encouraged), but those who find fault with Obama’s agenda are “un-American,” “evil doers,” and “Nazis.” Although much could be written in addressing the left’s illogic, use of ad hominems, and pejoratives directed toward the majority of Americans (in lieu of substantive debate of the health care issue), it’s the overall behavior that speaks volumes and is worthy of close examination for similarities with historically totalitarian regimes.

Included in the concerns that Obama is behaving like a constitutionally-defined “domestic enemy” is the president’s inability to answer specific questions addressing the funding for health reform, while simultaneously giving tacit approval to the Orwellian mass emailings from the White House to Americans who’ve never contacted 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and whose private email addresses should not be found anywhere within the Executive Branch. There are legitimate concerns that the “snitch address,” flag@whitehouse.gov, is one of the methods the administration is using to pit Americans against one another, as well as to spy on Americans opposed to the administration’s agenda. As noted on several occasions at the raucous Town Hall meetings, Americans are upset over a number of issues, not just health care. Thus, Axelrod’s unsolicited email only fans the flames of distrust, which causes fear in many. A fear that Americans should not be experiencing. Instead, a healthy constitutional republic is one in which the government fears the people and the people’s representatives would never dream of conducting “back room” business or attempting to ram through a piece of legislation that only a minority of Americans fully support. The Obama administration’s arrogant behavior belies its stated transparency and willingness to represent the people. In essence, Obama and the Democrats are at war with the majority of Americans on a number of “fronts” and it is reasonable to ask if current White House policy is deliberately designed to undermine our constitutional republic.

Since the beginning of the 20th Century, America has not engaged in any major conflict without allied participation. Moreover, since the conclusion of World War II, our country has maintained strategic alliances to thwart expansion of countries whose ideologies are contrary to democracy, that espouse terrorism, or murder their own citizens when they disagree with the country’s leadership.

During the 2008 Presidential Campaign, then candidate Obama repeatedly refered to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a “cycle of violence.” Subsequent to his election, the Obama administration has renounced terminology that refers to our current wars as those that are combating terrorism and the totalitarian internal suppression of its people found within terroristic regimes. Additionally, the president has directed our Armed Forces to Mirandize enemy combatants, close the facility at Guantanomo Bay, Cuba, appeared to genuflect before the corrupt leader of Saudi Arabia, engaged the Iranians as though they were not enemies of world peace (despite Iran’s known involvement in destabilizing Iraq, exporting terrorism, and threatening to anniahlate our only ally in the Middle East), and the president has publicly renounced Christianity as the moral framework the Founding Fathers envisioned as the restraining borders to our republic running amok. Yet, despite inveighing against the previous administration’s policies in conducting the war on terrorism, the president continues them unabated and directs an expansion of the war in Afghanistan. Once again, the president’s behavior does not match his words, except in the case of our ally Israel, the Middle East’s and Southwest Asia’s only democracy.

Though the anti-Semitic behavior of the left is inexplicable from a rational and historically-informed standpoint, the president’s inability to distinguish between a terrorist that kills innocents and a democracy’s military protecting its citizens is cause for trepidation within our own borders. Moreover, the current domestic scene in which the left attempts to suppress free speech and terrorizes its own citizens with Orwellian emails underscores a like-minded approach reserved for dictatorships.

The administration’s approach to internal dissent coupled with a foreign policy embracing the leadership tactics of the terroristic and oppressive regimes of our sworn enemies (i.e., the “Death to America” crowd) is alarming. If we are to objectively analyze the totality of Obama’s actions, then we cannot disassociate the president’s foreign and domestic policies revealing his behavior toward the American people and our enemies — including continuing to lump in close to 12 million illegal non-Americans in his “46 million uninsured Americans” figure. Moreover, we cannot ignore the “top cover” the mainstream media provides the president, as it invents distractions to avoid real discussion of substantive issues germane to the overall debate of Obama’s domestic and foreign agendas.

To begin the analysis of Obama as a constitutionally-defined “foreign enemy” of the United States, we can ask a few simple questions. If your health care plan doesn’t include providing illegal aliens health coverage, then why does the number of uninsured still include them? Since we know that not all illegal aliens are Mexicans working in various low-paying jobs Americans supposedly do not want, then how will the plan distinguish between a Mexican residing in the US illegally from a terrorist who merely used a student visa to gain access to American soil? If the Taliban are not terrorists, then why are we prosecuting a war in Afghanistan? What’s the threat to our country? How can you reasonablly equate Palestinian terrorists who vow another country’s total destruction and the genocide of its people with the only democracy in the Middle East? Why do your public policies and public actions (behavior) embrace totalitarian regimes and why does your administration’s policies toward dissenters to Obamacare resemble the behavior of said totalitarian regimes?

Although the evidence may still be inconclusive as to whether the president is a “foreign enemy” of the United States, it is time to begin asking the question — without any reference to a birth certificate.

     The author, Mark Epstein, is an Orthodox Christian, single-parent (including a daughter with Rett Syndrome), veteran, retired Soldier, and biker who occasionally writes a post about religion, politics, sex, and anything else controversial. This blog is the author’s sometimes cheeky, sometimes serious, way of looking at the folly of the political left, the political right, and anyone else who enjoys making a complete fool of themselves as they seek to deny other Americans their constitutional rights.

Most Americans are unaware that one of the greatest threats to their freedom may be a United Nations program known as Agenda 21. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Sustainable Development created Agenda 21 as a sustainability agenda which is arguably an amalgamation of socialism and extreme environmentalism brushed with anti-American, anti-capitalist overtones.


A detailed history on sustainable development, definitions, and critical actions can be found here. Section III of the Agenda 21 Plan addresses local community sustainable development. The Preamble and Chapter 28 discuss how Agenda 21 should be implemented at a local level. The United Nations purposely recommends avoiding the term Agenda 21 and suggests a cleverly named alternative: "smart growth." The United Nations Millennium Papers - Issue 2 (page 5) says this of Agenda 21 and smart growth:

Participating in a UN-advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy-fixated groups and individuals in our society such as the National Rifle Association, citizen militias and some members of Congress. This segment of our society who fear 'one-world government' and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined 'the conspiracy' by undertaking LA21. So, we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management, or smart growth [emphasis added].

Undoubtedly, residents of any town, county, or city in the United States that treasure their freedom, liberty, and property rights couldn't care less whether it's called Agenda 21 or smart growth. A recent example of this can be found in Carroll County, Maryland, where a smart growth plan called Pathways was drafted by the County Planning Department. The plan, if enacted, proposed a breathtaking reshuffling of land rights:

•Rezoning of thousands of acres of beautiful, low-density agricultural farmland and protected residential conservation land into office parks

•Down-zoning of agriculture land to prevent future subdivision by farmers

•Up-zoning of low-density residential land around small towns into higher density zoning to permit construction of hundreds or possibly thousands of inclusive housing units, including apartments and condominiums

•Inclusive housing with placement of multi-family construction on in-fill lots within existing residential single family communities

•Endorsement of government-sponsored housing initiatives (subsidies) to ensure healthier, balanced neighborhoods

Carroll County, Maryland is one of 1,168 cities, towns, and counties worldwide that are members of the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) - Local Governments for Sustainability, which is an international association of local governments as well as national and regional local government organizations that have made a commitment to sustainable development. The ICLEI mission statement closely resembles that of Agenda 21. In fact, the ICLEI has Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council and coordinates local government representation in the UN processes related to Agenda 21.

Community leaders working together in Carroll County recently defended their county against overreaching smart growth initiatives. Richard Rothschild, a candidate for Commissioner, emphatically remarks, "Smart growth is not science; it is political dogma combined with an insidious dose of social engineering. Smart growth is a wedding wherein zoning code is married with government-sponsored housing initiatives to accomplish government's goal of social re-engineering. It urbanizes rural towns with high-density development, and gerrymanders population centers through the use of housing initiatives that enable people with weak patterns of personal financial responsibility to acquire homes in higher-income areas. This has the effect of shifting the voting patterns of rural municipalities from Right to Left."

Smart growth plans usurp property rights and constitutional rights. Local officials, at the behest of State Government, revise zoning laws to fit into a "smart code" zoning template. A massive reshuffling of property rights ensues. Farmers may lose subdivision rights; conservation land adjacent to population centers may be rezoned into commercial employment centers; and low-density land in small towns is re-designated as growth area and rezoned to accommodate diverse housing including high-density apartments and condominiums.

Finally, a healthy dose of federal- or state-sponsored housing initiatives is embraced to ensure communities are properly balanced. The net effect of these plans is to create highly urbanized population centers throughout otherwise-rural counties, while simultaneously limiting the availability of land for suburban and estate subdivisions, as these are considered an unsustainable waste of land by Agenda 21 disciples.

Clearly, smart growth plans will impact Americans' future choices in where and how they live. Furthermore, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal and state agencies may attempt to deny grant funds to states and cities that do not adopt smart growth plans.

Most Americans will remain unaware of the implications of smart growth and Agenda 21 until after it is promulgated in their own backyards. Ironically, these plans are more insidious than the Eminent Domain ruling by the Supreme Court in the case of Kelo v City of New London. Under Eminent Domain rulings, property owners usually receive compensation for their losses.

Conversely, smart growth municipal plans, required by statute, enable municipalities to change zoning laws and engage in other regulatory actions that devalue property, restrict off-conveyances, and otherwise erode property values without payment of any compensation to the property owner.

Smart growth has another interesting unintended consequence: it can disrupt conventional alliances and lead to strange political bedfellows. Rural urbanization plans may raise the ire of environmental groups while simultaneously stirring the wrath of both conservative and liberal residents that want to maintain the rural fabric of their communities. Conversely, developers, sensing opportunity, may side with government smart growth bureaucrats in support of these plans.

Regardless of political orientation, two indisputable facts remain. Agenda 21 is a direct assault on private property rights and American sovereignty, and it is coming to a neighborhood near you.

'Blood' gangs targeting homes that display flags on private residences.  I'm sharing this information because I thought it sure serve as a warning to my Law Enforcement brothers. The gang members who were recently arrested for home burglary said in their de-brief that they target homes displaying the American Flag.  It was their experience that most in Law Enforcement or prior Military Service personnel display flags.  And they have found that these homes typically have weapons in the home.  While its not science it sure made sense to me.

1st Amendment - Obama Aide: Fox News Our 'Opponent' "Enemy of the State"

Fox News seems to enjoy being on the White House's enemies list.

A festering enmity between the Obama administration and the cable network boiled over Sunday when The New York Times quoted White House communications director Anita Dunn as saying of Fox: “We’re going to treat them the way we would treat an opponent.”

Fox Senior Vice President for News Michael Clemente fired back at what he called the White House’s “attack mentality.”

“Perhaps the energy would be better spent on the critical issues we are worried about,” Clemente said in a statement the network issued.

If Fox’s ratings are any clue, the administration’s attacks seem to be having the opposite of their desired effects. As of last week, the network has averaged 1.2 million viewers throughout the year, up from around 1 million viewers a year ago. This surpasses the network’s previous viewership record of 1.1 million viewers, which was set in 2003, the year the war began in Iraq.

In June, President Obama attacked Fox without mentioning it by name, saying it was devoted entirely to attacking his administration and that its coverage of his actions were all negative.

“Every time they [attack], our ratings go up,” Bill Shine, Fox’s senior vice president for programming, told the Times.

A Fox executive who declined to be identified said the attacks could solidify the network’s base. He quoted Fox Chairman Roger Ailes as having said: “Don’t pick a fight with those who like to fight.”

Paul Rittenberg, the network’s top ad executive, said, “People who watch Fox News believe it is the home team,” but Democrats don’t see it that way because of its critical coverage of the president and his political agenda.

Dunn’s comments followed press reports that Ailes had met with top Obama adviser David Axelrod for coffee in New York in what Politico called “a Fox summit.”

The White House communications director also took aim at controversial comments various Fox hosts have made against the administration.

These have included comments by immensely popular host Glenn Beck, whose 5 p.m. show has become a “cultural phenomenon,” with 3 million viewers, according to Shine.

Beck was credited with forcing the resignation of former green jobs czar Van Jones, whom he described as a “communist-anarchist radical.”
Weeks earlier, Beck came under attack from the Color of Change, a group Jones helped found, after he called the president “racist” during a Fox and Friends segment, which prompted several advertisers to pull their spots from his program.

Rittenberg, however, says the boycott has had no impact on Fox’s revenue because the advertising has been shifted to other parts of the day.

The administration also bristles about certain hosts' advocacy of the Tea Party movement.

Fox recently bolstered its Fox Business unit by hiring libertarian journalist John Stossel away from ABC, and it reportedly is trying to woo administration critic Lou Dobbs away from CNN. Dobbs met with Ailes last month over dinner, the Times reported.

“As they are undertaking a war against Barack Obama and the White House, we don’t need to pretend that is the way legitimate news agencies behave,” Dunn said.

Last month, the president appeared on all of the major networks’ Sunday talk shows except for Fox News Sunday, which the White House called an “ideological outlet.” This prompted Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace to call the administration “the biggest bunch of crybabies I have dealt with in my 30 years in Washington.”

Dunn dismissed Wallace’s comments as juvenile and said the administration would talk with Fox but said the White House would not "legitimize them as a news organization.”

The network defends its presentation of the news as objective during its news hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., including the anchor Shepard Smith's evening newscasts. Dunn even acknowledged that Fox reporter Major Garrett, its chief White House correspondent, is fair.
