Planned Parenthood Teams Up With Occupy Wall St. Movement      Yesterday Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, joined a coalition of left-wing groups in Florida to protest pro-life Republican Governor Rick Scott and to show support for the larger Occupy Wall Street movement taking place nationwide.

      Awake the State, which organized the rally, was accompanied by Planned Parenthood and Occupy Orlando at Senator Beth Johnson Park to stand “in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street and the larger Occupy movement against corporate greed and control over government.”

      In an email to supporters Planned Parenthood noted they strongly opposed 18 pro-life bills that have been filed since Gov. Scott took office in January. Planned Parenthood accused pro-life Florida lawmakers of “playing politics with women’s health by introducing legislation that allows government bureaucrats to interfere with decisions that should be made by a woman in conjunction with her doctor, her family and her faith.”

      Some of the measures signed into law by Gov. Scott include allowing a woman the opportunity to view an ultrasound prior to an abortion, strengthening Florida’s parental notification law and prohibiting taxpayer funding of abortion in the healthcare exchanges established by Obamacare.

      The Occupy Wall Street movement has become the subject of public skepticism after numerous well-documented cases of anti-Semitism, sexual assault, drug abuse, public masturbation, public defecation, vandalism and violence.  Among the movement’s supporters and sponsors are the Communist Party USA, the American Nazi Party, Socialist Party USA, Industrial Workers of the World, International Bolshevik Tendency, Marxist Student Union, 9/11 Truth groups and more.  http://www.lifenews.com/2011/11/02/planned-parenthood-teams-up-with-occupy-wall-st-movement/

Congress Told Obamacare Violates Pro-Life Conscience Rights
      Members of Congress heard from panelists today in a hearing who told them that the insurance mandate the Obama administration is likely to add to the Obamacare health care reform law will violate conscience rights of pro-life advocates.

      The Obama administration has initially approved a recommendation from the Institute of Medicine suggesting that it force insurance companies to pay for birth control and drugs that can cause abortions under the Obamacare government-run health care program.

      The IOM recommendation, opposed by pro-life groups, called for the Obama administration to require insurance programs to include birth control — such as the morning after pill or the ella drug that causes an abortion days after conception — in the section of drugs and services insurance plans must cover under “preventative care.” The companies will likely pass the added costs on to consumers, requiring them to pay for birth control and, in some instances, drug-induced abortions of unborn children in their earliest days.

      The Health and Human Services Department commissioned the report from the Institute, which advises the federal government and shut out pro-life groups in meetings leading up to the recommendations.

      While the rule the Obama administration will likely adopt does include a religious exemption, it is so narrow so as to not include Catholic colleges and universities as well as hospitals. Cain Leads Republican Presidential Race, Romney Second
      A new national poll released by Quinnipiac University finds pro-life Republican businessman Herman Cain leads the GOP presidential race and a new Rasmussen poll shows he leads in the early battleground state of South Carolina as well.

      Former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain leads the Republican presidential primary field with the support of 30 percent of Republican voters, the Quinnipiac poll found.

      Cain is followed by a group of candidates also campaigning on the pro-life position. He is followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with 23 percent, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich with 10 percent and Texas Gov. Rick Perry with 8 percent. No other candidate receives more than 7 percent of the support of Republican voters.

      Cain also leads a head-to-head GOP race with Romney 47 – 39 percent, coming close to the critical 50 percent mark, even though more Republicans think Romney has the knowledge and experience to be president.  http://www.lifenews.com/2011/11/02/cain-leads-republican-presidential-race-romney-second/

October Baby: A Pro-Life Movie Showing the Pain of Abortion
      Would you like to know the wonder of Twitter? Well, here’s a great example…

      On Friday morning, I tweeted, “thinking of driving to Alabama to see @OctoberBabyFilm” Within a few minutes I was on the phone with Dan Atchison, the film’s producer, and he invited us to the premier that night in Birmingham with the cast and crew. We moved a few things around and we were on the road to Alabama.

      I didn’t know much about October Baby except that it was a movie about a girl who found out she was an abortion survivor. To my surprise, the film is much deeper than that.

      October Baby follows Hannah (played by Rachel Hendrix) as she goes on a journey to find her biological mom…AND find herself. The exchanges between Hannah, her adoptive parents and her best friend, Jason, all paint a sobering, truthful picture about wondering who you are and where you come from.

     Without even knowing that she was adopted or the survivor of an abortion, Hannah grew up feeling like something just didn’t fit. She felt like an outsider, and she built walls to protect herself. Clinic Advertises “Gentle Abortions. No Pain. No Memory.”
     In New York City 41% of pregnancies are reported to be terminated by abortion. I Googled that statistic to verify it and in the sidebar was a string of advertisements. One in particular caught my eye.

     Sure enough, that’s what they offer. General anesthesia – the mother is asleep – while the child is killed.

     What struck me as odd is that a provider that buys advertising usually promotes the services believed to be of most interest to the potential customer. But post-20 week abortions are reported to be a rare service, usually 1-3% of the total abortions reported in a given year. The fees begin around $360 and increase with the “size of the pregnancy” up to $1,700 typically.

 180 Movie Marks 1.3 Million Views, Heading to High Schools

     The acclaimed pro-life movie 180 has now had more than 1.3 million people view it online at YouTube and now the producers of the documentary are taking it to high school campuses across America.

     A free DVD of the award-winning viral movie “180? may be coming to a high school near you as the promoters of the film follow up on their successful distribution of 200,000 copies of the movie to college and university campuses.

     Ray Comfort, the creator of the documentary says it has been so popular “because it’s ‘shocking.’ It opens with 14 people (mainly college students) who have no idea of the identity of Adolf Hitler.”

     “One reviewer said, ‘So, what’s a pretty good documentary could have been even stronger without the fools early on,’” Comfort said. “Perhaps those who are quick to call these students fools lack perception themselves. These young people are rather ignorant as to perhaps the darkest period of human history, because the American education system has failed them.”

When Will Black America Wake Up on Abortion?
     It’s common for the black political establishment to claim white conservatives and their policies cause black America’s problems.   It’s a shame this accusation is never challenged because in many ways it is the black establishment that is enabling decline.

     There is, for example, a chasm of fatherlessness in black America that breeds malcontents.   A man-child mentality permeates communities in which morally malnourished minors learn life lessons from pornographic and misogynistic rap songs glorifying “thug life.”  Yet government programs make single-parent households and absent fathers advantageous.

     Is this more the fault of Lyndon Johnson and his Great Society welfare-state agenda or Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI)?

     Inner-cities resemble Misrata more than Mayberry. In New York City, a recent headline read “15-Yr-Old Fatally Shot At Brooklyn Playground, 13-Yr-Old Injured.”  In Chicago, the news is “Gang Violence Leaves Two Men Shot.”  And while blacks comprised only 32.4 percent of the Chicago population in 2009, police report that 71.6 percent of those arrested that year were black.

MTV aims to make a profit airing a show about a pregnant teen deciding to abort her baby, and the best media writers can muster is to call it a "sensitive issue."

An MTV Special to be aired at 11:30pm Dec. 28, "No Easy Decision" is a half-hour program that follows a teen mom's tragic decision to abort her child.   The media coverage leading up to the program's air date has merely glossed over the murderous reality that is abortion, and used terms like "sensitive issue," "wrenching decision" and "ostracized party guest" to downplay the severity of infanticide.

The most egregious example of glossing over the impact of abortion comes from Linda Lowen at about.com.   Lowen twists the media's lack of interest in abortion into some fantasy victimhood like a socially awkward teen at a party.

"If the TV and film industry threw a party and invited all of the biggest social ills –  alcoholism, drug addiction, domestic violence, rape, drunk driving, infidelity, bullying, child pornography – as guests, abortion would be persona non grata, the unwanted person," Lowen wrote.   "That's because in the world of mainstream media, depicting abortion on film or TV is akin to inviting a socially ostracized party guest whose mere presence is guaranteed to start a fight."

Willa Paskin of New York Magazine casually mentions that abortions are considered "taboo" and that the teen featured on the special has pregnancy decision to make.   "[The MTV Special] will focus on Markai, a young woman who appeared in16 and Pregnant, as she decides what to do about her second pregnancy," Paskin wrote.   "Abortion has generally been taboo on television (with characters having miscarriages or changes of heart instead, though they've become a little more common of late), and the late air time is a nod to that."

Sunny Pepper at Examiner.com at least acknowledged that there are consequences to an abortion, but failed to acknowledge the loss of life in the process.   "With its new special, 'No Easy Decision', MTV will document the decision-making and consequences following a young teen who wrenches with the decision of abortion after getting pregnant a second time."

Entertainment Weekly's Jennifer Armstrong described a teen's decision as a "sensitive issue" and called it the ending of a pregnancy instead of loss of life.   "After documenting dozens of teen mothers' heart-wrenching stories via its hit '16 and Pregnant' and 'Teen Mom' series, MTV will tackle the sensitive issue of abortion with a separate special called 'No Easy Decision,' EW has learned exclusively," Armstrong wrote.   "Dr. Drew Pinsky will also talk with young women who, like 27 percent of teens who end up with unplanned pregnancies, have chosen to end them."   Her article was also linked to on CNN.com

Nice that these media writers choose to characterize the killing of a human being as "no easy decision" or "sensitive issue" – lip service to appease those oppose infanticide.

MTV has done this special in direct collaboration with Exhale, a non-profit post-abortion support group that will feature live blogging and a twitter campaign during the special's airing.

Democrats Push Anti-Military, Pro-Gay, Pro-Abortion Bill Next Week! Urgent action is needed to block the Democrat's effort to undermine our Armed Forces! Democrats are willing to destabilize the military in an attempt to gain votes this November. The Senate has scheduled a vote on the National Defense Authorization Bill this Tuesday. This bill contains language that:

• Imposes open homosexuality on the U.S. military by overturning the 1993 law banning on homosexuality. This puts conservatives in a bind who want to support our national defense, but don't want to vote to overturn the ban.
• Requires military hospitals to perform abortions.
• Gives amnesty to children of illegal immigrants through the Dream Act.

      Amnesty and abortion have nothing to do with funding our national defense!   They should be vigorously debated at another time.   These are not relevant for a defense bill.   The main goal is to appease LGBT activists, open borders, and abortion industry supporters as a way of bolstering election outcomes.
      Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has even joined forces with the weirdo pop singer Lady Gaga, to push for gays in the military. He recently tweeted Lady Gaga telling her that he views this pro-LGBT defense bill as an important vote before the mid-term election recess.
      This effort is being pushed in spite of the fact that Congress gave the Pentagon the task of studying how lifting the ban on gays will impact military readiness. The Pentagon is expected to issue its report in December.
      Remember: There is no "right" to serve in the military. It is a privilege and the military has the duty to establish certain requirements for service. There has certainly never been any "right" of soldiers to engage in homosexual behaviors in the U.S. military.
      This legislation is dangerous to military morale, readiness and unit cohesion. Here are some of the negative results that Democrats ignore:

• A zero-tolerance policy will force straight soldiers out of the service or push them into silence. For decades, openly serving gays, lesbians and bisexuals were justly considered a threat to unit cohesion, morale and military effectiveness. They still do.
• Careers will be destroyed and promotions denied to individuals who object to homosexual conduct.
• Chaplains will be forbidden to preach from the Bible on homosexual conduct.
• Our military readiness will be diminished if the 1993 law is abolished.

      Lt. General Thomas Bostick , who is the deputy chief of staff in charge of personnel matters for the Army, admitted that if the gay ban is overturned, anyone who opposes homosexuals will be considered the same as a racist or a bigot – and will be ejected from the military if they can't "get with the program"! He claimed that individuals who object to gays on moral or religious grounds are racists!   Bostick and others will enforce a zero tolerance policy against any criticism of gay conduct!
      Keep in mind that 1,167 retired General and Flag officers have signed a statement opposing lifting the ban on homosexuals openly serving in the military! Their views should count! Sen. McCain plans to lead a filibuster and only needs 41 votes to stop this assault on our military . The LGBT/abortion supporters, however, need 60 votes to overcome McCain's objection!   Your Senators need to be encouraged to vote with Sen. McCain next week.
      The Senate could adjourn as early as October 1, so if we can block Reid's attack on our Armed Forces until then, we may have won!   But… Time is short if we are to make a difference!   You can help us right now by sending a letter of concern to your two U.S. Senators – asking them to vote against repeal of the 1993 gays in the military law and against funding abortion in military hospitals! And, please forward your letter to as many of your friends and associates as you can!  And, send your letter today!

Passage of the so-called "health care reform" bill in the House of Representatives this past Sunday, March 21 (I won't even address the inferred unconstitutionality of Congress doing business on the Lord's Day. See Article. I. Section. 7. Paragraph. 2.) drove yet another stake into the heart of America. For all intents and purposes, it is the health of the United States that is in dire need of healing. In fact, the US has been on extended life-support for decades. With its condition being rendered critical, and absent major surgery, its days are numbered. The passage of this bill only serves to further weaken an already frail Constitution. In fact, this one may prove to be the fatal blow. Lady Liberty may never recover.

The decision by Congress to socialize medicine in the US ranks among the most draconian, most egregious, most horrific actions ever taken by the central government in Washington, D.C. This bill rocks the principles of liberty and constitutional government to the core. It changes fundamental foundations; it repudiates historical principle. Oh! The same flag may fly on our flagpoles, the same monuments may grace our landscape, and the same National Anthem may be sung during our public ceremonies, but it is not the same America. The Congress of the United States has now officially turned America into a socialist state.

On March 23, 2010, President Barack Obama signed the health care bill into law, and as such, this date--along with March 21--joins a list of dates that have each inflicted unconstitutional, socialistic, and sometimes even tyrannical action against the States United and have, therefore, contributed to the destruction of a free America.

April 9, 1865

This is the date when General Robert E. Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia to U.S. Grant at Appomattox Court House, Virginia. Regardless of where one comes down on the subject of the Civil War, one fact is undeniable: Abraham Lincoln forever destroyed the Jeffersonian model of federalism in America. Ever since, virtually every battle that free men have fought for the principles of limited government, State sovereignty, etc., have all stemmed directly from Lincoln's usurpation of power, which resulted in the subjugation and forced union of what used to be "Free and Independent States" (the Declaration of Independence). In fact, the philosophical battles being waged today regarding the recent health care debacle (and every other encroachment upon liberty and State power by the central government) have their roots in Lincoln's tyranny.

July 9, 1868

This is the date when the 14th Amendment was ratified. This amendment codified into law what Lincoln had forced at bayonet point. Until then, people were only deemed citizens of their respective states. The Constitution nowhere referred to people as “US citizens.” It only recognized “the Citizens of each State.” Notice also that citizenship was only recognized among the “several States,” not among people living in non-State territories. Until the 14th Amendment, people were “Citizens of each State.” (Article. IV. Section. 2. Paragraph. 1.) The 14th Amendment created a whole new class of persons: “citizens of the United States.” This false notion of “one nation” overturned the Jeffersonian principle that our nation was a confederated republic, a voluntary union of states.

February 3, 1913

This is the date when the 16th Amendment was ratified, and the direct income tax and IRS were instituted. This was a flagrant repudiation of freedom principles! What began as a temporary measure to support the War of Northern Aggression became a permanent income revenue stream for an unconstitutional--and ever-growing--central government.

April 8, 1913

This is the date when the 17th Amendment was ratified. This amendment overturned the power of the State legislatures to elect their own senators and replaced it with a direct, popular vote. This was another serious blow against State sovereignty. The framers of the Constitution desired that the influence and power in Washington, D.C., be kept as close to the people and states as possible. For example, the number of representatives in the House of Representatives was to be decided by a limited number of voters. In the original Constitution, the ratio of "people of the several States" deciding their House member could not exceed "one for every thirty thousand." (Article. I. Section. 2. Paragraph. 3.) And when it came to the US Senate, the framers also recognized the authority of each State legislature to select its own senators, thereby keeping power and influence from aggregating in Washington, D.C. The 17th Amendment seriously damaged the influence and power of the states by forcing them to elect their US senators by popular vote. The bigger the State, the less influence the State legislature has in determining its US senator. Senators who answered to State legislators, each answering to a limited number of voters, are much more accountable to the "citizens of the several States" than those who are elected by a large number (many times numbering into the millions) of people. For all intents and purposes (at least in the larger states), US Senators are more like "mini-Presidents" than they are representatives of sovereign states.

December 23, 1913

This is the date when the Federal Reserve Act was passed. This Act placed oversight of America's financial matters into the hands of a cabal of private international bankers, who have completely destroyed the constitutional principles of sound money and (for the most part) free enterprise. No longer would the marketplace (private consumption, thrift, growth, etc.) be the determinant of the US economy (which is what freedom is all about), but now a private, unaccountable international banking cartel would have total power and authority to micromanage (for their own private, parochial purposes) America's financial sector. Virtually every recession, depression, and downturn (including the one we are now experiencing) has been the direct result of the Fed's manipulation (again, for its own purposes and with Washington's cooperation) of the market.

June 26, 1945

This is the date when the United Nations Charter was signed and America joined the push for global government. Ever since, US forces have spilled untold amounts of blood and sacrificed thousands of lives promoting the UN's agenda. Since the end of World War II, in virtually every war in which US military forces have been engaged, it has been at the behest of the UN. And it is also no accident that America has not fought a constitutionally declared war since we entered the UN--and neither have we won one.

Furthermore, it is America's involvement in the United Nations that has spearheaded this draconian push for a New World Order that George H. W. Bush, Henry Kissinger, Tony Blair, Walter Cronkite, et al., have talked so much about. The United Nations is an evil institution that has completely co-opted our US State Department and much of our Defense Department. It is an anti-American institution that works aggressively and constantly against the interests and principles of the United States. But it is an institution that is ensconced in the American political infrastructure. Like a cancer, the UN eats away at our liberties and values, and both major political parties in Washington, D.C., are culpable in allowing it to exert so much influence upon our country.

June 25, 1962, and June 17, 1963

These are the dates when the US Supreme Court removed prayer ('62) and Bible reading ('63) from public schools. At this point, these two Supreme Court decisions were the most serious affront to the First Amendment in US history. Think of it: from before a union of states was established in 1787, children had been free to pray and read the Scriptures in school. We're talking about a period of more than 300 years! Of course, the various State legislatures--and myriad city and county governmental meetings--still open their sessions in prayer, as do the US House and Senate, and even the US Supreme Court. But this same liberty is denied the children of America. There is no question that America has not recovered from these two horrific Supreme Court decisions. In effect, the federal government has expelled God not only from our public schools, but also from our public life! And America has not been the same since.

October 22, 1968

This is the date when President Lyndon Baines Johnson signed the Gun Control Act of 1968. Before this Act, the 2nd Amendment was alive and well in the United States. The Gun Control Act of 1968 turned a right into a privilege and forever forced the American people to bow to the altar of government when seeking to arm themselves. Interestingly enough, this Gun Control Act mirrored Nazi Germany's Gun Control Act of 1938. In fact, the Gun Control Act of 1968 is almost a verbatim copy of Hitler's Gun Control Act of 1938.

Our Founding Fathers could never have imagined that governments within the "several States" would ever be allowed to deny the people's right to keep and bear arms. In fact, it was the attempted confiscation of the firearms stored at Concord, Massachusetts, that triggered the War of Independence in 1775. That the people of Massachusetts would be denied their right to keep and bear arms, as they are today, could not have been foreseen--and would never have been tolerated--by America's founders.

Yet, most of the hundreds of draconian gun control laws that have been inflicted upon the American people have all come about as a result of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

January 22, 1973

This is the date when the US Supreme Court issued the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions, which, in effect, legalized abortion-on-demand. These two decisions expunged the Jeffersonian principle that all men are endowed by their Creator with the unalienable right to life (Declaration). Since then, more than 50 million unborn babies have been legally murdered in their mothers' wombs. Abortion is, without a doubt, America's national holocaust. It has opened the door to a host of Big Government programs and policies that have resulted in the wanton destruction of human life both in the United States and overseas. It has created an entire industry whose express purpose for existing is the destruction of human life. It has desensitized the conscience and soul of America. Furthermore, it has forced men of decency and good will to finance--with their tax dollars--the unconscionable act of killing unborn children.

And once again, another Jeffersonian principle was eviscerated. He said, "To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical." The Roe and Doe decisions violate this principle in the most egregious manner possible.

October 26, 2001

This is the date when President George W. Bush signed the USA Patriot Act, and the federal government's war against individual liberty began in earnest. Most of the unconstitutional eavesdropping, snooping, wiretapping, phone call intercepting, email reading, prying, financial records tracking, travel watching, ad infinitum, ad nauseam, by federal police agencies began with the implementation of the Patriot Act. The Department of Homeland Security and the "war on terrorism," which have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people worldwide, and the usurpation of federal power at home, have all come about as an outgrowth of the Patriot Act. The USA Patriot Act has forever shifted the focus of American law and jurisprudence against constitutional government and individual liberty, toward a police-state mentality. The Patriot Act is even turning our local and State law enforcement agencies into military-style "Jackboots," where police officers see themselves not necessarily as guardians of the citizenry, but, as often as not, as adversaries, where citizens are deemed to be the "enemy."

October 17, 2006, and October 9, 2009

These are the dates when President G.W. Bush signed and re-signed the Military Commissions Act. This Act is the outgrowth of the Patriot Act but has, in effect, terminated the fundamental protections of individual liberty, which are found in the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. For all intents and purposes, the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act eviscerated the 4th and 5th Amendments, and do serious injury to several others. The Military Commissions Act also expunges the constitutional right of Habeas Corpus.

March 21 and 23, 2010

These are the dates when Congress passed and President Obama signed into law the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act," the so-called "health care reform" bill that we spoke about at the beginning of this column. While Social Security and various Welfare programs have toyed with socialism in the United States, this bill is the largest and most expansive endorsement of socialism in American history. This bill socializes some 18% of the US economy by socializing the health care industry in America. The fallout and ramifications of this bill are going to be horrific.

When future historians review the demise of our once-great republic, they will observe that the above dates, including March 21 and March 23, 2010, were the dates that destroyed America. The American people have been far too tolerant for far too long.

People concerned about the future of freedom and prosperity in America should line up quickly and demand that their respective State legislatures and governors resist this new health care bill, even to the point of refusing to implement it in their states. More than 30 states are threatening to take the health care bill to court. But states must do more than that. They must follow the lead of the State of Virginia and pass legislation refusing to comply with it. Yes, I'm saying it: it is time for another State rebellion! If states do not stand up and draw their lines in the sand now, it will be forever too late.
