Californians note: Illegal Immigration Costs California Over Ten Billion Annually (health care alone!)
plus ~ $10B in incarceration costs. State's "cheap labor" costs average household $1,183 a year
This doesn't include the below "direct payments" from federal taxes to illegals.
This doesn't include all of the various other federal funded programs giving aid to illegals nor other programs such as "California allows illegal aliens to claim in-state tuition" nor the cost of ICE processing illegals ($113B/yr), or local city ($12B for primary/secondary ed. alone), county services ($200M public safety), ($2B in food subsistance) etc. etc. etc. Conservative estimates: $100 Billion from your taxes!
And, remember, only 1/2 of the tax eligible people in the U.S. actually pay taxes. Which half are you?

This week, the House voted to stop funding for sanctuary cities and for the federal government's lawsuits against states that pass immigration-enforcement laws. But Congress remains silent about the income tax refunds to illegal aliens who file for the Alternative Child Tax Credit (ACTC).
The ACTC allows low-income illegal aliens to file for a $1,000 tax refund per child -- even if that child doesn't live in the United States! We constantly hear that illegal aliens pay taxes. The truth is that many have taxes withheld from paychecks, but the IRS gives them refunds larger than what they paid in.
During our webcast on Thursday, we showed a shocking investigative report from WTHR-TV in Indianapolis highlighting this tax loophole that's transferring $4 billion of taxpayer money to illegal aliens per year.
Even worse, the Inspector General for the Treasury Department is well aware of the loophole, has notified the IRS about it, but nothing has been done. The IRS blames Congress for establishing rules that force them to distribute the refunds.
Some concerned lawmakers have introduced legislation that would make it tougher for illegal aliens to file for the ACTC. Check your Action Board for new faxes urging your three Members of Congress to pressure Leadership to bring these bills to a vote.
Companion bills offered by Rep. Jack Kingston of Georgia (H.R.3444) and Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana (S.577) would all require tax filers to use a valid Social Security number instead of an ITIN to file for the ACTC. Two other bills -- H.R.1956 offered by Rep. Sam Johnson of Texas, and H.R.3275 by Rep. Larry Buchson of Indiana -- take a similar approach.
VICTORIES IN THE HOUSE!
Our victories in the House of Representatives this week come during its consideration of the 2013 Commerce, Justice, and Science spending bill.
The House approved an amendment offered by Rep. Diane Black of Tennessee that would prohibit Justice Department funds from being used in lawsuits against states that have passed immigration enforcement laws. Rep. Black's amendment passed 238-to-173 on a roll call vote. This will show up on our Grade Cards next week.
The House also approved, by voice vote, an amendment offered by Rep. Joe Walsh of Illinois that would prohibit any funds from the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) from going to states or municipalities that have passed sanctuary laws protecting illegal aliens. SCAAP reimburses states that incarcerate criminal illegal aliens who have yet to be deported. The House overwhelmingly rejected an amendment (99-311) offered by Rep. Danny Davis of Illinois that would significantly reduce SCAAP funding.
