2nd Amendment - Testimony by Henson Ong: Gun Violence Prevention Public Hearing, Hartford, CT (video 5m10s, 28Jan13)

In the late '40s, watching my dad, home from WWII, shooting his .45 and Garand was a thrill.  I sensed, from the talk among the vets, that they were enjoying being back in America.
As a kid in the '50s, I enjoyed firearms/rifle training/safety shooting classes that were held in my grade school.
When folks were caught stealing watermelons from my grandpa's patch, the sound of his shotgun's 'rock salt' zipping through corn stalks said to me that 'this is our land and we have the right to protect it.'
In the early '60s, down in Louisiana, I walked about town wearing a pistol in a side holster amongst many'a pickup with rifles'n shotguns in their rear windows.  No one needed to neither roll-up windows nor lock the doors.  Life was normal.
Walking the downtown streets at night with family was a fun time to see all the lighted store window displays.  We didn't have to look over our shoulders.  Sure there were crimes involving the use of guns but it was not a cause for panic.  The criminals were usually caught, tried'n fried.
Two years and one president standout in my mind as transforming America: 1964 (The Civil Rights Act's unintended consequences) and 1968 (The Federal Firearms Act's intended consequences) coupled with Lynden Baines Johnsons'
 "Great Society" welfare stateism.
In the '70s'n '90s, wearing a badge, I didn't seize people's guns 'cause I was wearing the badge.  On many a warrant, I had to admonish some other officers that we don't confiscate without cause.  Today most local, county, state, and federal officers lack, as shown by their actions, proper judgment when they 'without cause' take - without authority - weapons found whenever they otherwise invade a citizen's domain.

'Few Saw the Third Reich Coming Until It Was Too Late'
We tracked down Mr. Ong and he gave us an exclusive interview.  See what became the tipping point for his support of the Second Amendment here:
During a public hearing on gun violence in Hartford, Conn. on Monday, a legal immigrant by the name of Henson Ong issued a passionate defense of the SecondLegal Immigrant Henson Ong Takes Bold Stand Against Gun Control During Public Hearing in Connecticut Amendment and argued that gun control simply "does not work."  The video of Ong's testimony has already surpassed 130,000 views on YouTube.
"Forgive me, English is not my first language.  I am a legal immigrant and I am an American by choice," he began, prompting applause from the audience.
"Thank you for giving me this opportunity to express my opinion and give my testimony in opposition to the majority of the proposed bills, which do nothing to deter future crimes," he added.  "Gun control doesn't work."
Ong then launched into a impassioned diatribe about what he considers to be the real problem fueling gun gun violence — "societal decay."
"Your own history is replete with high school rifle teams, boy scout marksmanship merit badges," he explained.  "You could buy rifles at hardware stores, you could order them… your country was awash in readily available firearms and ammunition, and yet in your past you did not have mass school shootings*."
"What changed?" he asked.  "It was not that the availability of guns suddenly exploded or increased, it actually was decreased.  What changed was societal decay," he added, resulting in more applause.

Ong pointed to the Washington, D.C. and Chicago as two cities with some of the strictest gun laws but also "the highest crime and murder rates."
"If gun control actually did work, Washington, D.C. and Chicago would be the safest cities in your nation.  But [they are] not, they have the toughest gun laws and the highest crime and murder rates," he said.
Ong also defended Americans' right to own so-called "assault rifles," which are really just semi-automatic rifles.  Citing a recent purchase of 7,000 5.56x45mm NATO "personal defense weapons" by the Department of Homeland Security, he noted how the agency described the weapons as "suitable for personal defense use in close quarters."
He went on: "Had the Koreans in the LA riots not had AR-15s and AK-47s with 30-round magazines — and Ruger 30s — their businesses would have burnt to the ground like all the other businesses in their neighborhoods.  Theirs stood because they stood their ground."
Driving a point home that many U.S. lawmakers don't even seem to fully understand, the legal immigrant stated definitively that the Second Amendment's purpose was not for hunting.
In closing, Ong quoted a famous statement by Judge Alex Kozinski in his dissent on the case of Silveira v. Lockye in 2002.
"My excellent colleagues have forgotten these bitter lessons of history.  The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime usually do.  But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late.  The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed only for those exceptionally rare circumstances when all other rights have failed.  A free people can only afford to make this mistake once."
Ong ended his testimony to applause from the audience.
* In reality, school shooting deaths have actually experienced a steady decline between 1993 and 2010, studies show.

Behind Viral Testimony Explains Why He's Pro-Gun
Henson Ong, who testified this week in defense of the Second Amendment, told TheBlaze his pro-gun ownership views came from a violent attack he and his family suffered in their native Philippines. (Image source: YouTube)
Henson Ong, the Connecticut resident and legal immigrant whose passionate defense of the Second Amendment drew applause at a legislative hearing this week, said his pro-gun ownership views were cemented after he and his family were the victims of violent crime in their native land.
Ong, of Waterbury, Conn., said he and his family immigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines 13 years ago.  He declined to provide many personal details, including his age, but told TheBlaze in a telephone interview it was that crime that prompted their move to the U.S.
"As a personal victim of violent crime, I can say that appeasement to criminals and disarming the innocent is not the solution," Ong told TheBlaze.  "If a violent criminal were to attack you and your family, the only answer, the only logical answer, is to defend oneself and eliminate the threat.  That doesn't necessarily mean killing, but it means stop the threat as quickly as possible."
He added, "I do not want those rights, and the freedoms that come with the rights, eroded in my adopted country."
Ong said he felt compelled to testify at the hearing amid nationwide calls for more gun control following the Newtown, Conn. elementary school massacre last month.
"What is the point of gun control?  The common factor of all violence in society is the violent individual," Ong said.  "If the violent individual was not there you could have an arsenal and the arsenal would have harmed nobody."
He said the Newtown tragedy has been hijacked by people driven by an agenda to restrict gun ownership.
"I believe much of this overreaction is illogical and irrational," Ong said.  "It is all emotion-based, and it is fanned by people who have an agenda, who have been waiting for an opportunity such as this."
Ong said the enthusiastic response he got from the audience was an "encouraging" sign that "there is more support for freedom against the statist agenda of the current administration."
"A disarmed population is subject to being victimized by their own government, and by those criminal elements who unfortunately as time goes on becomes part of the government, either directly or indirectly," he said, referring to government corruption.
"If the population is disarmed, we are helpless.  And if the Second Amendment rights are taken away, how long before the First Amendment rights are taken away?  How do you enforce the taking away for the Second Amendment without violating the Fourth Amendment?" he asked.  "This is a stand that must not fall."

o'maculation - Excellent take on the election

From: lc Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2013 Subject: Wow! Excellent take on the election
Boy is this ever the truth... If we cannot regain control of those critical institutions ("that instill good character - marriage, the family, communities, schools, our churches"), that Ms. Hollis enumerated, and rekindle the rational, sane and conservative values they once  represented,.....WE ARE DOOMED TO CONTINUE THIS SLIDE INTO A LEFTIST, PROGRESSIVE, LIBERAL LED DECAY and ULTIMATE COLLAPSE. -- lc
by Laura Hollis, Nov 08, 2012

I am already reading so many pundits and other talking heads analyzing the disaster that was [last] year's elections.  I am adding my own ten cents.  Here goes:
1. We are outnumbered.  We accurately foresaw the enthusiasm, the passion, the commitment, the determination, and the turnout.  Married women, men, independents, Catholics, evangelicals - they all went for Romney in percentages as high or higher than the groups which voted for McCain in 2008.  It wasn't enough.  What we saw in the election on Tuesday was a tipping point: we are now at a place where there are legitimately fewer Americans who desire a free republic with a free people than there are those who think the government should give them stuff.  There are fewer of us who believe in the value of free exchange and free enterprise.  There are fewer of us who do not wish to demonize successful people in order to justify taking from them.  We are outnumbered.  For the moment.  It's just that simple.

2. It wasn't the candidate(s).  Some are already saying, "Romney was the wrong guy"; "He should have picked Marco Rubio to get Florida/Rob Portman to get Ohio/Chris Christie to get [someplace else]."  With all due respect, these assessments are incorrect.  Romney ran a strategic and well-organized campaign.  Yes, he could have hit harder on Benghazi.  But for those who would have loved that, there are those who would have found it distasteful.  No matter what tactic you could point to that Romney could have done better, it would have been spun in a way that was detrimental to his chances.  Romney would have been an excellent president, and Ryan was an inspired choice.  No matter who we ran this year, they would have lost.  See #1, above.

3. It's the culture, stupid.  We have been trying to fight this battle every four years at the voting booth.  It is long past time we admit that is not where the battle really is.  We abdicated control of the culture - starting back in the 1960s.  And now our largest primary social institutions - education, the media, Hollywood (entertainment) have become really nothing more than an assembly line for cranking out reliable little Leftists.  Furthermore, we have allowed the government to undermine the institutions that instill good character - marriage, the family, communities, schools, our churches.  So, here we are, at least two full generations later - we are reaping what we have sown.  It took nearly fifty years to get here; it will take another fifty years to get back.  But it starts with the determination to reclaim education, the media, and the entertainment business.  If we fail to do that, we can kiss every election goodbye from here on out.  And much more.

4. America has become a nation of adolescents.  The real loser in this election was adulthood: Maturity.  Responsibility.  The understanding that liberty must be accompanied by self-restraint.  Obama is a spoiled child, and the behavior and language of his followers and their advertisements throughout the campaign makes it clear how many of them are, as well.  Romney is a grown-up.  Romney should have won.  Those of us who expected him to win assumed that voters would act like grownups.  Because if we were a nation of grownups, he would have won.

But what did win?  Sex.  Drugs.  Bad language.  Bad manners.  Vulgarity.  Lies.  Cheating.  Name-calling.  Finger-pointing.  Blaming.  And irresponsible spending.  This does not bode well.  People grow up one of two ways: either they choose to, or circumstances force them to.  The warnings are all there, whether it is the looming economic disaster, or the inability of the government to respond to crises like Hurricane Sandy, or the growing strength and brazenness of our enemies.  American voters stick their fingers in their ears and say, "Lalalalalala, I can't hear you."  It is unpleasant to think about the circumstances it will take to force Americans to grow up.  It is even more unpleasant to think about Obama at the helm when those circumstances arrive.

5. Yes, there is apparently a Vagina Vote.  It's the subject matter of another column in its entirety to point out, one by one, all of the inconsistencies and hypocrisies of the Democrats this year.  Suffice it to say that the only "war on women" was the one waged by the Obama campaign, which sexualized and objectified women, featuring them dressed up like vulvas at the Democrat National Convention, appealing to their "lady parts," comparing voting to losing your virginity with Obama, trumpeting the thrills of destroying our children in the womb (and using our daughters in commercials to do so), and making Catholics pay for their birth control.  For a significant number of women, this was appealing.  It might call into question the wisdom of the Nineteenth Amendment, but for the fact that large numbers of women (largely married) used their "lady smarts" instead.  Either way, Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton are rolling over in their graves.

6. It's not about giving up on "social issues."  No Republican candidate should participate in a debate or go out on the stump without thorough debate prep and a complete set of talking points that they stick to.  This should start with a good grounding in biology and a reluctance to purport to know the will of God.  (Thank you, Todd and Richard.)

That said, we do not hold the values we do because they garner votes.  We hold the values we do because we believe that they are time-tested principles without which a civilized, free and prosperous society is not possible.

We defend the unborn because we understand that a society which views some lives as expendable is capable of viewing all lives as expendable.

We defend family - mothers, fathers, marriage, children - because history makes it quite clear that societies without intact families quickly descend into anarchy and barbarism, and we have plenty of proof of that in our inner cities where marriage is infrequent and unwed motherhood approaches 80 percent.  When Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, many thought that the abortion cause was lost.  Forty years later, ultrasound technology has demonstrated the inevitable connection between science and morality.  More Americans than ever define themselves as "pro-life."  What is tragic is that tens of millions of children have lost their lives while Americans figure out what should have been obvious before.  There is no "giving up" on social issues.   There is only the realization that we have to fight the battle on other fronts.  The truth will win out in the end.

7. Obama does not have a mandate.  And he does not need one.  I have to laugh - bitterly - when I read conservative pundits trying to assure us that Obama "has to know" that he does not have a mandate, and so he will have to govern from the middle.  I don't know what they're smoking.  Obama does not care that he does not have a mandate.  He does not view himself as being elected (much less re-elected) to represent individuals.  He views himself as having been re-elected to complete the "fundamental transformation" of America, the basic structure of which he despises.  Expect much more of the same - largely the complete disregard of the will of half the American public, his willingness to rule by executive order, and the utter inability of another divided Congress to rein him in.  Stanley Kurtz has it all laid out here.

8. The Corrupt Media - is the enemy too strong?  I don't think so.  I have been watching the media try to throw elections since at least the early 1990s.  In 2008 and again this year, we saw the media cravenly cover up for the incompetence and deceit of this President, while demonizing a good, honorable and decent man with lies and smears.  This is on top of the daily barrage of insults that conservatives (and by that I mean the electorate, not the politicians) must endure at the hands of this arrogant bunch of elitist snobs.  Bias is one thing.  What we observed with Benghazi was professional malpractice and fraud.  They need to go.  Republicans, Libertarians and other conservatives need to be prepared to play hardball with the Pravda press from here on out.  And while we are at it, to defend those journalists of whatever political stripe (Jake Tapper, Sharyl Atkisson, Eli Lake) who actually do their jobs.  As well as Fox News and talk radio.  Because you can fully expect a re-elected Obama to try to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine in term 2.

9. Small business and entrepreneurs will be hurt the worst.  For all the blather about "Wall Street versus Main Street," Obama's statist agenda will unquestionably benefit the biggest corporations which - as with the public sector unions - are in the best position to make campaign donations, hire lobbyists, and get special exemptions carved out from Obama's health care laws, his environmental regulations, his labor laws.  It will be the small business, the entrepreneur, and the first-time innovators who will be crushed by their inability to compete on a level playing field.

10. America is more polarized than ever; and this time it's personal.  I've been following politics for a long time, and it feels different this time.  Not just for me.  I've received messages from other conservatives who are saying the same thing: there is little to no tolerance left out there for those who are bringing this country to its knees - even when they have been our friends.  It isn't just about "my guy" versus "your guy."  It is my view of America versus your view of America - a crippled, hemorrhaging, debt-laden, weakened and dependent America that I want no part of and resent being foisted on me.  I no longer have any patience for stupidity, blindness, or vulgarity, so with each dumb "tweet" or FB post by one of my happily lefty comrades, another one bites the dust, for me.  Delete.  What does this portend for a divided Congress?  I expect that Republicans will be demoralized and chastened for a short time.  But I see them in a bad position.  Americans in general want Congress to work together.  But many do not want Obama's policies, and so Republicans who support them will be toast.  Good luck, guys.

11. It's possible that America just has to hit rock bottom.  I truly believe that most Americans who voted for Obama have no idea what they are in for.  Most simply believe him when he says that all he really wants is for the rich to pay "a little bit more."  So reasonable!  Who could argue with that except a greedy racist?  America is on a horrific bender.  Has been for some time now.  The warning signs of our fiscal profligacy and culture of lack of personal responsibility are everywhere - too many to mention.  We need only look at other countries which have gone the route we are walking now to see what is in store.

For the past four years - but certainly within the past campaign season - we have tried to warn Americans.  Too many refuse to listen, even when all of the events that have transpired during Obama's presidency - unemployment, economic stagnation, skyrocketing prices, the depression of the dollar, the collapse of foreign policy, Benghazi, hopelessly inept responses to natural disasters - can be tied directly to Obama's statist philosophies, and his decisions.

What that means, I fear, is that they will not see what is coming until the whole thing collapses.  That is what makes me so sad today.  I see the country I love headed toward its own "rock bottom," and I cannot seem to reach those who are taking it there.

2nd Amendment - County Sheriff & Gun Control

County Sheriffs Can Block Federal Gun Control
county sheriff richard mack     President Obama has given his comic sidekick the task of pushing gun control measures through Congress.  Democrats and some liberal Republicans are calling for more gun control after the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  Some state and municipal politicians, like the #1 anti-gun person in the nation – New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, are also calling for more control.
But did you know that no matter what gun control laws are passed by the federal government, they can only be enforced in your area if your county sheriff allows them to be.
Most people, including politicians fail to realize that the ultimate legal authorities in the land are the county sheriffs.  This was established from the time of the Founding Fathers and upheld by the US Supreme Court in the 1997 case of Printz v. United States.  Initially, the case was Mack v. United States, but by the time it reached the Supreme Court it was renamed.
The case involved new federal regulations involved with the Brady Bill and gun control.  FBI agents went around to the various county sheriffs and demanded that they follow the new federal guidelines.  Then Graham County (AZ) Sheriff Richard Mack and several others saw the Brady Bill as being unconstitutional and refused to impose the new federal guidelines.  Part of their defense was that the county sheriff was the supreme law enforcement officer over their county and that the federal government could not supersede their legal authority.
In the court's decision, Justice Antonin Scalia wrote:
". . . The great innovation of this design was that 'our citizens would have two political capacities, one state and one federal, each protected from incursion by the other'" – "a legal system unprecedented in form and design, establishing two orders of government, each with its own direct relationship, its own privity, its own set of mutual rights and obligations to the people who sustain it and are governed by it." (P.920)
Justice Scalia then quoted the man considered to be the Father of the US Constitution, President James Madison, when he wrote in the decision:
"[T]he local or municipal authorities form distinct and independent portions of the supremacy, no more subject, within their respective spheres, to the general authority than the general authority is subject to them, within its own sphere." The Federalist, No. 39 at 245.
Scalia then referred to Gregory, 501 US at 458 when he wrote:
"This separation of the two spheres is one of the Constitution's structural protections of liberty: 'Just as the separation and independence of the coordinate branches of the Federal Government serve to prevent the accumulation of excessive power in any one branch, a healthy balance of power between the States and the Federal Government will reduce the risk of tyranny and abuse from either front.'. . ."
Referring once again to President Madison, Scalia wrote:
"In the compound republic of America, the power surrendered by the people is first divided between two distinct governments, and then the portion allotted to each subdivided among distinct and separate departments. Hence a double security arises to the rights of the people. The different governments will control each other, at the same time that each will be controlled by itself." (P. 922).
In other words, the county sheriff is the highest governmental authority in his county and he does not have to bow to the tyranny of the federal government if he deems such actions to be unconstitutional or unlawful.  In essence, the county sheriff has more legal authority within his county than the governor or the state or even the president of the United States.
Today, former Sheriff Richard Mack works with a number of county sheriffs throughout the county, helping them understand the extent of their authority and how they can legally defy the federal government.  I would highly recommend that you contact your county sheriff and see if he/she is aware of their powers and duties.  If not, get them in contact with Mack and urge your county sheriff to stand up against upcoming unconstitutional gun laws that the liberals are going to try to impose on us.

2nd Amendment - Beyond Guns: Bullet Control

From: Patriot Update Date: Tuesday, January 8, 2013 Subject: Liberals Target Bullet Control

by AWR Hawkins, Breitbart8 Jan 2013

In order to prevent another Sandy Hook Elementary shooting from taking place, California Assembly member Nancy Skinner is proposing "bullet control."gun purchaser at store with dealer
This consists chiefly to two things: 1. Forcing individuals buying ammunition to show ID, and 2. Forcing retailers to report ammunition sells to the DOJ
  • Problem number one: People already have to show ID to confirm age before buying ammunition.
  • Problem number two: Forcing retailers to report ammunition sells to the DOJ is just a slick way of enabling the DOJ to compile a registry of ammunition purchases.
As I've said in other posts, liberals have been straining to find ways to compile a federal registry of firearms for decades.  For now, if they can just start registering the names of those buying ammunition they'll at least have some sort list they can use to map out gun-owning populations.
  • Would "bullet control" have stopped the Sandy Hook shooting?  No.
  • Will it stop future shootings?  No.
  • Will it make it harder for criminals to get bullets?  No.
  • Will it discourage law-abiding citizens from buying ammo, because they don't want to be on a registry?  Yes.
"Wow," says the liberal, "sounds like a great idea!"

2nd Amendment - Bank of America Against Guns

I've heard that Citibank has similar policies.  I asked a Wells Fargo manager whether WF issues loans for gun purchases...NO!  Guess our money should go elsewhere too.  I wonder if there is a local bank that supports the Second Amendment?  I've not heard any radio ads nor have I seen any bank commercials saying that they do. -- rfh
From: Godfather Politics Date: Tuesday, January 8, 2013 Subject: Bank of America Leads Charge Against Guns
The Democrats' campaign against the Second Amendment is obvious and expected after the Sandy Hook shootings.
But the gun grabbers are also getting some help from Bank of America.
According to Joe Sirochman, owner of American Spirit Arms, the bank out of the blue on Dec. 18 decided to delay processing deposits, threatening his company's operations.
American Spirit, like other gun sellers, has seen a huge increase in online sales in recent months, up 500 percent, according to a Dec. 29 Facebook posting by Sirochman.
The company has been a BofA customer for more than 10 years and had no problems until last month, when the bank held up the company's online deposits.
Sirochman said he got the run-around until he finally was connected with a manager who told him,  "We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet."
The company has since found a new bank, Sirochman said Monday.  "We had to fight tooth and nail to get them released." Sirochman wrote.  "We have now gotten most of the deposits and have set up new accounts with a local bank."
This is not the first time BofA has singled out customers involved in gun manufacturing and selling, but the timing of the punitive review of American Spirit's accounts, just the second business day after the Sandy Hook shootings, puts the bank clearly on the side of the gun grabbers and the current push by the White House to eliminate the Second Amendment.
While it's unknown if BofA management decided on its own to go after American Spirit, it would not be surprising if there were a phone call from Obama Administration officials directing the bank's attention toward the gun seller.
The bank is a major contributor to the William J. Clinton Foundation. Chairman Charles Holliday is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative and has deep ties to numerous liberal causes and businesses that support the Left's agenda.  CEO Brian Moynihan is a director of BlackRock Inc., one of BofA's major investors and a corporate member of the Council on Foreign Relations, which was founded in part by Bank of America.
The Council on Foreign Relations 'think tank' is the octopus that has its tentacles in the United Nations, the Obama Administration and Democratic political campaigns going back at least to Michael Dukakis' presidential bid.
Corporate members include major companies like Exxon, Coca Cola, Google, Walmart and Soros Fund Management.  It's one of the primary movers behind the United Nations' Agenda 21, one component of which is -  complete lack of surprise - global gun control.
As the fight over Americans' right to defend themselves warms up this month, expect the Left to attack not just through government but through its puppet businesses as well.

3 years ago: The Debt ~ $125T+! Then Obama:  Up $22T+ in only 3 years! $22T to $26T+ by 2015!  Since November 2011 to January 2013 he has added $2 Trillion to the deficit!  States' Unfunded: $3.2T+! • (Dec10) From Jan'09 the deficit: $10.2T→$14.6T up $4.3T/42%! -- Federal unfunded liabilities total $84 trillion .. equal to 5.7 percent of the present value of all future GDP, which translates into about 31 percent of the long run federal revenue estimate,” the report states.  “Thus federal revenues would have to rise immediately and permanently to 24.1 percent of GDP to cover the fiscal imbalance.” (source:

Many Americans actually pay $1 out of ever $2 earned to some form of tax while ~50% of people pay no taxes!  Do you pay your bills?  The Fed takes $3 in and spends $5.  Debt per citizen: $51,985 - Debt per taxpayer: $142,513! (13Dec12)

What were you doing in the last hour while the U.S. Gov't spent $188 Million Dollars of our money!  (Every Hour, Every Day!) (Apr11)   In 8 years, President Bush added $5 trillion to the national debt; President Obama, according to a revised Dec11 GAO report, added $4T+ to the U.S. deficit in 2011 alone!  The GAO estimates the deficit, including o'scamcare & mandates, may grow from $15T+ to over $26T+!  UPDATE: A little-noticed event occurred at approximately midnight on Monday, October 31, 2011.  The National Debt exceeded the GDP!  Imagine what these numbers are going to be now that Obama is reelected! A trillion seconds pass in 31,688 years.  At $1/sec it would take 41,194 years just to pay off o'tax'n spend's new Feb12-Feb13 added debt - 538,696 years to pay only the national debt or 4,404,632 years to settle the debt+unfunded liabilities!

"Over the last four years our national debt has risen nearly $6 trillion, and just last week the debt topped an astounding $16 trillion.  To put that in perspective, $16 trillion is enough money to fund the US military, along with the military of every NATO country combined… for the next sixteen years!  Government spending is projected to hit $3.8 trillion this year alone.  Even after every tax dollar paid by Americans has been counted, the government will still overspend by another $1.13 trillion.  Every single second of the day our government spends over $12,000.  So in the time it takes you to read this article, roughly five minutes, our government has spent $3.6 million.  It take four seconds for the government to spend what the average American earns in an entire year."  (source: by Tim Phillips 17Sep12 at
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself.  They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable . . . the very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that is good." -- George Washington

Thousands of Deadly Islamic Terror Attacks Since 9/11
It has been suggested that o'who?, the clown, and 'those who surround him' are not the bumbling fools they appear to be.  Nor are they one of the 'Three Stooges' but rather are shrewd implementation/drivers and fellow-travelers of policies designed to disarm the citizenry & collapse the American economy.  Why?  o'nocchio's grandiose scheme to "fundamentally transform America" is more than simple campaign rhetoric as can be seen by his use of "enabling acts" to circumvent the Constitution of the United States.  As Ollie used to say, "Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into."

"As a nation we have been asleep for years.  Lulled by affluence and self-indulgent apathy, our collective awareness has grown dim.  This has created an opening for our enemies, one that may ultimately prove fatal.  This is the truth and what we do, or don't do, will determine the consequences, for better or worse.  It is time to decide." --
