Here are a brief and basic description of just a few of the items contained in H.R. 45!
1. All new guns must be registered within the first 2 years of the signing of this Bill.
2. All Firearms must be registered retroactively, this includes, but not limited to: antiques, display models, hunting rifles and starter guns!
3. Personal Information of the gun owner, as the registered owner of a firearm, must be surrendered to the Government, application must be made that includes a photo, address, all previous aliases, thumb print, completion of a written firearm safety test and release of mental health records to the attorney general.
4. 5 year license renewal by the gun owner for each and every one of the guns owned.
5. Penalties for noncompliance – confiscation, fines and/or prison terms up to 10 years.
6. Authorizes the government to search any locale without a warrant or provocation. This includes, but not limited to; workplaces, vehicles, private homes, and persons.
7. Creation of a new government bureaucracy oversight department to scrutinize U.S. Citizen's compliance.
8. Government authority to issue or not to issue ownership permits to Citizens.
9. Yet to be disclosed - application, ownership, issuance and renewal qualifications.
10. Prohibits transferring or receiving firearms without a government issued license and the Government must verify the license before any transfer.
11. Gun dealers must receive authorization before the transfer or sale of any firearm.
12. Attorney General has absolute authority to approve or deny any citizen, firearms dealer or entity from possession, use, transfer or care of a firearm without authorization.
13. All firearms must have a tracking number and be recorded with firearms dealers; furthermore, Firearms Dealers must submit their records to the government.
14. A "Federal Record of Sale" system will be created to track citizens with firearms, dealers that sell firearms, transfers and any and all firearms related transactions or movement or firearms.
15. National instant criminal background check system will be required for any firearm transfer.
16. Manufacturers of firearms are required to act on certain issues yet to be disclosed in this Bill.
17. Mandatory reporting of firearms theft within 72 hours to the Attorney General.
18. Mandatory reporting to the Attorney General ANY address changes of a citizen who claim firearm ownership.
19. Keeping a loaded firearm, or an unloaded firearm and/or ammunition for any firearm, in a knowingly or reckless manner with disregard to a child's capable of gaining access, limitations and definitions to be described by the government in future revisions.
20. Create and maintain a firearm injury database with access by undisclosed entities.
21. Authorize investigations of firearm-related deaths and injuries compiling the data into accessible studies and reports available to undisclosed entities.
22. Create a database containing permanent data regarding the production and sales figures of each government licensed manufacturer.
23. The Attorney General will be given the authority to review, inspect and manage the certification process of state firearm licensing or record of sale systems.
And the list goes on and on and on………. Faxdc is learning more everyday what this Bill will contain. H.R. 45 may go the way of the Snake Oil Stimulus Bill, so large no one can read it, So many handwritten entries, no one can decipher it, and so convoluted no one can understand it.
